To be fair, that is greatly in his favour.

No player at the top level should aspire to be no more than an impact sub.

In the same way I never think I'll of a fellow whom shows his unhappiness at being subbed if he is not injured.

Absolutely mate - you would like to think that no player would be content with that role. But there are some who will ultimately find that is the only thing available to them at the top level or at certain clubs.

Its starting to feel like there is a bit of pattern where he becomes a bit part player at the clubs he has been at or on loan too - even though he shows flashes of magic. He's another one where the potential tag is slipping away and he needs to deliver - but doesn't look like it is going to be with us.

Disappointed that its increasingly unlikely it will be us who unlocks Geris vast potential. Hope its a loan move and he can start showing what he is capable of.
