Gerard Deulofeu

Just baffles me how Lennon has had game time and even bench time over him. He offers nothing but geri always creates regardless of how fit he is or how much he tracks back

Deulofeu gets better the longer he doesn't play.

He does not, will not and cannot play in the system or style koeman wants to play and is not effective enough to fit him into the squad.

Del does not have the physical side and work rate to work effectively under Koeman's style. Koeman requests his offensive players to do the pressing all the time and share some responsibility when defending as a team.

...sadly he appears surplus to requirements as soon as a suitable replacement comes in. I've still got no idea what price tag the club will put on him but his departure looks inevitable, even if it happens in the summer.

DEULOFEU TALKS ONGOING

Talks are continuing between Everton and AC Milan over a loan deal that will take Gerard Deulofeu to the San Siro until the end of the season.

Sky Sports News HQ understands that the move has been held up by AC Milan’s refusal to pay a loan fee.

Barcelona still have the option of a buy back clause that was part of the deal when they sold the 22-year-old to Everton for £4.3m in June 2015, but, that won’t stand in the way of a temporary move to Italy.

Deulofeu wants the opportunity to play in Serie A and Everton manager Ronald Koeman has agreed to let him go. However, it will take a U-turn from Milan for the move to go through.

Milan are just wasting our time. Tell them to do one.
