Unfortunately if Big Ron hasn't jumped ship next season, I see this being Geri's last season for Everton.
I'm over it mate. Over it with most of our players to be honest. Our poor last bit of the transfer market just hit home even more this last week.I'm starting to think this too. Chronic inconsistency coupled with a baffling lack of fitness.

Too many inconsistent, not quite right footballers that will keep us mid table.
When he came to the club in his first loan he was fantastic. I remember him destroying teams by himself, Stoke being a particular highlight.Personally i haven't seen much progression in his game,he's at that age now where he should have shown at least some improvement in his game.
He still looks like the same raw talent who first came to the club, and still with so many facets of his game that still need improving.
Both playing with zero confidence and both suffer from the same problem. They are weak mentally and probably were too good too soon and haven't learned either mental toughness or the need to work for the team.Geri looked like he has Ross disease today. Overthinking. He's at his best when he just runs around and whips in crosses
He also needs to learn to move left. He's like a basketball player you can just guard the right hand bc he never drives the other way
This is the problem with most though in our first 11. We can go through periods of the season where we won't be able to score a goal if we played for 3 hours. This week has been like that, and may continue longer. It's Lukaku or bust at stages it seems. I'm over it. Time to move on a good few from the club that can't find consistency or are "not quote right" I feel.Reminds me a lot of Giovani dos Santos. Obviously a lot of talent but it's how he can apply it.
Even when he's playing well how much of an impact is he actually having on a game? His finishing isn't great.
Before you reach that point I will remind you he's still only 22.This is the problem with most though in our first 11. Pains me to write this as I am a Geri man and he loves it at Everton. I don't think Big Ron is a fan either.
What form is that mate? The inconsistent world beater of the first half of last season? Or the dross we get otherwise? I could give Geri a decade as I am a fan. Problem is, half the 11 is the same. And I am over them collectively. Before you reach that point I will remind you he's still only 22.
He just needs to keep working and hopefully his form will come back.
As I said above, there's a whole bunch of them in the squad at Everton that will keep us a mid table club unless something gives. They either develop and perform or go.The psychologists have moved here from the Ross Barkley thread then...
I completely concur, over the course of the last couple of seasons there's always a constant echo regarding the promise of our team especially del, Besic and Ross, eventually that potential needs to be realized by consistent tangible performances rather than the fleeting blip of an occasional impressive display. I'm aware players need to the opportunity to develop but this constant championing of players for the future seems delusional. Action brings results not talk of promise otherwise they need to be discardedAs I said above, there's a whole bunch of them in the squad at Everton that will keep us a mid table club unless something gives. Enough worshiping footballers. Let's start finally worshiping the team after 3 decades of dross.
