He proper loves Everton like. I think his unsuccessful stint at Sevilla made him appreciate how much we loved him. Hope he can improve more, get fitter and go on to become our best ever foreign player. Has the potential.Always puts a smile on my face when I hear Gerry speak

It's not the sentiment mate, the sentiment is fine, it's the means of delivery.Huh?? Banner is from when he signed permanently - not recent.
What's "kopite" about welcoming an exciting player back to the club after he had a torrid time on loan in Seville?

Those twenty metre rolls of banner are so Kopite it makes my gums ache.

lollollollolFair enough, next time we should drop Deulofeu shaped confetti over L4 out of an "Everton League Champions 2017" blimp

He ran at players though mate - and thus stretched the game. Him and Bolasie were just leading their defenders all over the place and that led to more space in the middle.
I too thought his 'end product' (for lack of a better term) was lacking, but overall he had the desired impact and the sub changed the game.

Technically he didn't give the ball away playing that pass. The point is a forward pass even if misplaced doesn't necessarily result in losing possession, sometimes fortune favours the bold.Yeah i agree completely mate. That was my point that even when hes not quite on his game he still makes things happen.
Prime example was Lukakus first goal. Del nearly lost the ball twice in his own half, then took a few dodgy touches while he was bringing it over the halfway line, and then gave the ball away trying to play a through the needle pass to Mirallas.
But the fact that he had carried it so far meant that we had a chance to win it back in their half and Gana did the rest with his cross to Rom
