Pretty big move by NASCAR here, may seem like nothing to the average person but given the sports history and association with the flag it's a pretty big deal.
Shame it took so long but still...

Mind sharing where you went to school in Texas?I never understood these Confederate flag types. I hate that flag. Hated it for decades before all this stuff popped off. It's a shame it took this and not years, of black americans simply pointing out that it is offensive to them.
My dad went to college in South Carolina in the 70s. Was always called a Yankee, and got a bunch of crap.
I went to school in Texas, got less of it, but still got it as a New Yorker. I'd see the flag on trucks, people driving around with "sons of confederate veterans" license plate frames.
They always say this is our history. Pretend like they are more patriotic than everyone else. But they are representing the biggest rebellion against the union, a culture of the worst oppression. I just don't understand it. People were burning that flag at protests in my city, not usually a fan of flag burning of any kind. But I didn't mind it at all.
Everything that flag stands for is wrong. It's like doubling down on being on the wrong side of history
Careful now, there's SJW on here, I used the word bunch to describe people on here yesterday, and got criticised for it, I'm not too sure if they'd take kindly to using the word heap, you have to be very careful with your words these days too many taking too much offence to words.seriously tho, I'm not sure what process happens that leads a whole heap of Irish Americans to end up like this fella.
Wow. That’s huge.Pretty big move by NASCAR here, may seem like nothing to the average person but given the sports history and association with the flag it's a pretty big deal.

It's obvious why - acceptable racism and race baitingI never understood these Confederate flag types. I hate that flag. Hated it for decades before all this stuff popped off. It's a shame it took this and not years, of black americans simply pointing out that it is offensive to them.

That is horrible to see on so many levels. When the rule of law starts to break down we could find ourselves in complete anarchy. I also wonder who the member of the EDL was who happened to have a baseball bat close to hand...I bet his card has been marked.
Disgusting, though people shouldn't assume that things like this are only happening now - it happens on a fairly regular basis across the country, and has been doing since 1829. The people involved will and should get banged up.
All that has happened here is that someone has filmed it and a media desperate for some excuse to escape their own responsibility for the current situation are pushing it, as seen by how many people refer to the white cop being attacked by black men but rather viewer have pointed out that his colleague isnt white.
Are you saying it's not a racist attack due to the police woman?
