I don't like to see our police behaving this way...They shouldn't be kneeling down like this.

Kneeling down as a sign of protest? Our police shouldn't be joining in with any protests while they are on duty. It doesn't matter what the protest is about.... it's their job to remain neutral and professional. If not, where do you draw the line?

And kneeling down in the face of protesters? Well, that just weakens their authority.

Call me cynical, but some emergency workers (especially the young ones) seem too preoccupied with using their occupations to garner more likes on social media...Instagram, Tiktoks etc. Not fit to wear their uniforms.
they are engaging and show empathy with the people they serve. people who are hurting right now. i prefer them to ur stasi lust , mr white ( v apt )

I used to work with a 50 year old woman who used to slap mens asses every friggen day. It seemed to be her privilege that no one seem to confront her about it.

I've had my balls grabbed in a night club by two different women, total strangers. They thought that they had the privilege to just do this and I wouldn't care because I was a man. The found out that one of them did it all the time.

The fact is, everyone has privilege and everyone is a hypocrite.

Growing up in Huyton, I've been pulled over by the police many of times.

Beatings from the police was quite common in the 80's and 90's, I remember running from the police at 12. My mate got caught and beaten to a pulp. He said the copper put on leather gloves first and he was frightened for his life. He never spoke for months. It totally changed him.

My older brothers can tell worse stories with the police.

I've seen an advertisement that only BAME members apply. Never seen an advertisement for a job for only WHITE people apply.

I've been refused many jobs, if I was black I suppose I would have just blamed it on the colour of my skin.

It's very easy to get a victim mentality complex. It's very easy to blame your own problems on something else. It's very dangerous to tell somebody that every failure in their life is the colour of their skin. Not everything is racist. Not everyone is racist.

Identity politics does not unite people, it creates division.

Does the U.S.A look united right now?

Everyone has privilege, just different types of privilege.
It is not to do with the few times you have experienced something wrong against you based on your race. It is to do with being born into a system and a society that means that every time you leave your house you worry about these things happening to you. I am sorry that you and your brothers and your friends have been wronged. But it's not the same.

Every time you leave your house are you worried police might target you? Every time you go to a job interview are you worried you won't be seen as equal based on your qualifications? Do you worry that your children will be judged just because of the colour of their skin?

I've said it before and I will say it again. This is not about whether white people have tough things to go through. Obviously lots of white people have horrible things to deal with. Bu this is to do with the fact that ethnic minorities have it much worse on average.
