I think she may find an unpleasant surprise awaits. The way this works is count heads on the other side of the aisle first, then push the big red button. Not that any of them would give her the time of day.

People in competitive seats do not want to stand for election six months from now when the House has been paralyzed the entire time. Jeffries probably doesn't want the Speakership right now. He wants it with a majority in the next Congress. Johnson in the chair serves his interests, and those of his members not in safe seats.

The problem here is the inconsistent application of Christian principles by the religious right. They want the right to engage in unsafe behaviors. All well and good, until you start harming others. You want to get ejected from your vehicle? Fine, but buckle your kids. You want to drive at excessive speeds, or drink and drive? Not fine.

It's the problem with the anti-vax approach. Some of us who get vaccinated don't develop the antibodies, and rely on herd immunity. No way of knowing who's who until it's too late. An actual Christian approach would demand vaccination as a result.

You can't pick libertarianism from the buffet when it suits you, and Christianity when it doesn't. They're incompatible philosophies. It's one or the other. I've never been able to find anything in a Bible that advocates a thought police nanny state, either. The guy tells people to fix themselves, and shoos off the lot that want to punish someone else.

I don't see how this is hard.

Seems like Tucker wants fossil records of the single cell organism evolution all the way to humanity or else he won’t believe in it, despite there being actual substantial evidence to back it up. However, he’s ok with his own idea that god just dropped people off on earth one day and said have a nice time despite there being absolutely no evidence in that regard. This one’s a doozy.

The interview gets better, he claims that we still don't know where the ideas for fussion came from. As someone who studied energy modules at a very very basic level with the works of the curies and liza meitner etc, I can't begin to express how stupid carlson really is.
