Dems need to have this type of messaging in every state all the time. It's one of the few galvanizing inroads to motivating voters or perhaps even dissueding voters from voting for Republicans. Sure the economy is important, but more messaging about the "party of freedom and america first, blah blah blah..." limiting the freedoms of Americans will be the best option going forward.

Menendez was very lucky that the bar to prove public corruption was raised around his last trial so when he got a mistrial there wasn’t much appetite for a retrial. Hope this time they have the evidence.

Always has been dirty. Was guilty as sin in the Medicare fraud case years back. Somehow beat federal heat in the form of Chris Christie a decade prior. I think the Feds finally have him, this time.

How soon before he's at a podium next to Trump, railing against how the extreme left stole his party, he's being attacked in a partisan witch hunt, for the SAKE OF AMERICA something has to be done about the elites etc etc etc

These cases always seem like they should trigger a new election, particularly if the switch happens soon after the win - surely it is misrepresenting yourself to voters?

It all seems so pointless, most senators seem to be able to make lots of money in ways that are at least plausibly legal.

It is especially wrong when one remembers he's also been the one seemingly holding up the F-16 deal with Turkiye. I did think that was down to some kind of misplaced quid-pro-quo for letting Finland and Sweden into NATO, but reading those tweets makes it abundantly clear it was probably at the behest of some other countries' government and in return for financial reward.

If its proved, he really needs to go to prison for the rest of his life - and his wife, too.
