The problem is that they’ve painted themselves into a corner by believing every word he’s spoken thus far. In the Republican Cinematic Universe, Rittenhouse is an upstanding pillar of truth. Now they either have to believe this nonsense, or by dismissing it as such acknowledge that he’s nothing but a liar who will say whatever best suits his cause.

Just imagine being the type of person who giddily walks out to your mailbox hoping today was finally going to be, at last, the day your Kyle Rittenhouse swag arrived. Jesus wept.

TBF I think they know they’ve got to distance themselves from him, to make it appear the right wing wasn’t associated with him in the way that it was. It benefits both sides.

It is outrageous the US spends all this money on military spending without the scrutiny that happens with money spent towards social programs. Republicans are eager to allow all this military spending to happen without issue. But when it comes to social spending then they become concerned about the deficit.

The closing statements that Hogue has made the past two days are truly outrageous, dehumanizing and just plain racist. If the jurors can’t convict these three white men for Arbery’s murder then the US justice system is way more screwed and hopeless than I thought.

It’s just shameless desperation Sassy. There is no real defense in this case so she’s resorting to scummy tactics to hopefully sway one or two jurors who may have a similar scummy mindset. If there’s no conviction here, I’ll join you in the protests. It’s clear as day that this is murder and they need to be convicted as such.

Indeed. It is very disgusting the degradation tactics she utilized during her closing arguments as last resort. I just feel saddened for Arbery’s mom and his family having to endure this humiliation after their son was killed like an animal by those horrible human beings. After Rittenhouse acquittal if the same happens in this case then I can see a lot of protests happening in Georgia and all over the US, but I’m hopeful that the jurors will come up with a guilty verdict ??

This is the same conference where Republicans, most who I’m sure claim to be Christians, were literally worshipping a golden idol of Trump last year. Wouldn’t want such a hallowed event to be made into a laughingstock.
