TBF there are lots of roadmaps to victory, given how central Trump is to the race and how defined the vast majority of people are. Get rid of him and I think almost anyone (even a Trump kid) beats Biden, simply because a lot of the easy argument for voting against the GOP disappears.

aye, and i called your detail a "solid counter". but you did bold my Anyone But Trump theory, suggesting you had no agreement to it.

i used to recognise you as a thoughtful poster, just the last few days your efforts have been more confrontational rather than thoughtful.

i sometimes present ideas that may appear radical or new. the discussion works best when replies are thoughtful & curious: everyone gets something interesting out of it that way, quite happy for my angle to be countered & bettered by a thoughtful debater.

but if the replies are confrontational & dismissive then it just leaves a bad aftertaste as everyone is fighting their corner rather than exploring. i appreciate this is Web 2.5 now: online debate is almost all either echo-chambery or confrontational...doesn't have to be, tho'.

i reckon GOT could do with more modern-conservative or centrist-minded posters, or even ones with no set ideology at all, just curious for ideas.

Same. You kinda get a feel for posters after a while. Sure we may all disagree but most folk seem decent. Something about him creeps me out.
