I seriously dislike him. He is a Republican pretending to be a Democrat. I can see he being against a lot of things Biden wants to implement. If he is so worried about issuing $2000 checks to needed Americans then instead of opposing it he should already be introducing legislation about reversing the tax cuts for the rich and corporations, that's exactly how we can paid for this.

Biden got 29% there. I don't mind him, as he's on speaking terms w/ some of other republician senators and might be useful to needle a compromise if one is needed. Guys like Schumer and Feinstein are pretty hard core centrists too and they are in very blue states.

He's either angling for pork or a committee spot and he knows the dems have the votes w/ or w/o him. As far as him switching sides I'd be pretty shocked if it happens for if he enters a primary as a republician he won't be a senator anymore and will get trounced in a republician primary.

I don’t like the idea that voting on party lines should be assumed either way and that independent thinking is seemingly bad. Honestly think we need more of it. Disagree with a particular action but being upset that someone doesn’t agree with their affiliated party 100% or the time...Idk
