I wish Romney had answered with what he knows to be true when she asked why he didn't support Trump in the election.

Something along the lines of "because he's the most inept and unfit person to have ever run for, much less won political office in this country, and he's a blight on not only our national discourse, character and security, but on the issues that you as a conservative claim to care about" would have done the trick.
 
Abrams having the governer role stolen by Kemp may not have felt like it at the time, but its probably the best thing that could have happened looking now.

She's a phenomenal graceful woman and a superb organiser. Her and her teams deserve so many plaudits for all their efforts especially the door to door canvassing during a pandemic
 
Republicans in Pennsylvania are now trying to replicate Trump's calls against fair election results and have refused to seat a Democrat state senator who narrowly won reelection and whose victory was confirmed by the PA Supreme Court. The Republican party effort to overturn fair elections is a worrying pattern that may derail our democracy and future elections :(

 
The news from Georgia has really knocked the roid bro's confidence on bodybuilding.coms forum, they have gone from defiant nationalism to basically all crying about how conservatives are doomed and how they just need to accept that the US from this point forward will be a liberal/communist/marxist hell hole and how at least they won't have to be alive to witness the countries complete downfall.

I'm NOW going to be "cautiously optimistic" about this. But holy fn hell does Biden et al need to do a TON of work in the first 100 days.

Election security, help for those who need it (would be nice if you could opt out as I don't need it), infrastructure, codify norms in to laws, election security, beat the ever loving piss out of Russia, election security, get DC admitted as a state etc

Definitely. I'm not entirely sure anyone else had the energy, fortitude or capability to do what she did and her overall impact in Georgia after this may have been far bigger than anything she could have done as a governor. Hopefully she has created a template Democrats can follow around the country
