Any red states thinking they’d be better off on their own should take a long look at figures like these. They’re all most highly subsidized states that stand to lose the most without the backing of the Federal government.

In the way it's a functional (inter)national business it is. Can't be many of them coming from Kentucky otherwise they wouldn't be leeching so much federal money yearly.
Are any of the bourbons popular worldwide? Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Woodford Reserve are all from Kentucky, but I’m only about an hour away from there, and have never paid any attention to how widespread their popularity is.

I know jim Beam have bought up distilleries all over the world.
they bought the local distillery where I grew up in Ireland.

Meh, people talk about Kentucky Bourbons but the drink that's better than all of them is a Tennessee Sour Mash. Jack No 7 is better than any bourbon I've tried.

Although, me and Jack rarely talk anymore due to adventures best forgotten.
