I'd give up several House Dem seats for a few Senate seats
One of the first things IF Biden is elected is to repeal the whole act that limits Congress to a set amount. It amounts to someone in Wyoming having a hell of a lot more say than the same person in NY Florida Texas or California. It should be the same number of representatives based upon the state with the smallest population.

That helps the House and Electoral College, but not the Senate. The Senate composition is defined in the Constitution so would require an amendment. No way that it happening.

Alternatively, statehood for DC and PR would likely be 4 Dem Senate seats. I’m not sure of the votes needed in Congress to adopt statehood...two-thirds or simple majority.

Typically, the following general procedure has been used when granting territories statehood:

The territory holds a referendum vote to determine the people's desire for or against statehood. If adopted, the territory then petitions the U.S. Congress for statehood. The territory is required to adopt a form of government and constitution that is in compliance with the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Congress, both House and Senate, must pass, by a simple majority vote, a joint resolution accepting the territory as a state. The President of the United States signs the joint resolution and the territory is acknowledged as a U.S. state.

I think PR may surprise people. I could easily see it being 1 D 1 R.

Kinda stupid, kinda funny, kinda true, kinda not true.

so the guy on the left is unhinged but the guy on the right isn't talking about Q or [Poor language removed] grabbing or pedophile pizza joints or birtherism?

Yea, some people are too woke and are annoying, and some do take PC too far
But the other side are working toward authoritarianism fueled by insane conspiracy theories.
