Tbf if I was Campar I wouldn’t take it personally given Hunter was calling his own wife a crook and blaming all the theft on her in an attempt to save his own skin a few months ago. Quite impressive though now that in asking for his wife’s clemency Hunter still manages to come across as a pig - innate talent I guess will shine through regardless of circumstances.
He most likely wont be bothered but it's something to remind voters off in his campaign. Something he can then correlate with Issa's lies.
Not to forget Carl DeMaio who is on a crusade for Congress (also instead off Hunter) in an area he won't win. If it goes red it will be Issa. DeMaio is hated more than Issa. Way more. He's gay you see so there are still many backwards people here who wont vote for him.
Many on the right think that's why he lost to a democrat a few years back in the mayor's race. He lost in that mayor's race to Scott Peter's who wasn't very popular even with the left.
Issa being in Trumps circle and who is known country wide will be backed. It's why I think they convinced him to come out of retirement at the fear off losing the seat.
I'm sure one or both of them will accuse campar as being a terrorist again calling him muslim terrorist who was part of the Olympics thing in Munich. It worked for Hunter I guess.
