It has been a good week for progressives in Democratic primary races:

The Democratic Party woke up this morning with a clear signal from Tuesday’s primary elections: The #Resistance means business. The more progressive candidate won in Democratic primaries around the country. The question, however, is whether those more liberal candidates will hurt the party’s chances in November.

Watched Newsnight last night and Steve Bannon was interviewed. He can certainly talk, that's for sure. You wouldn't want to get into a debate with that feller. Horrible right win get like.
 
wohoo, ABC have cancelled Roseanne after Barrs vile tweets earlier today.
It's not in the Trump related thread but it probably should be as he has cultivated an atmosphere where people think it's ok to think these vile things, never mind say them

The bigger question is how someone that aggressively unfunny was famous in the first place.

Never understood it. Even by terrible female comic standards she was bad. Only explanation I have is that because she looks funny, Americans thought that was enough to be actually funny in the 80s/90s.
