A witness gave evidence in Court today that he did abuse Speed. Widely reported on Sky and BBC. I know that doesn't mean it's true but very well could be

Just awful news. Poor kid. Carrying that with you all your life. Terrible.

RIP Gary. You were one of the good guys. It's a great shame you're not around to hear that.

Sorry mate I must have mis heard it earlier. Just heard it again on ITN the witness said that Bennell had coached Speed and three other players who had committed suicide like you said

It may be relevant, it may not be . The terrible crimes need investigating and where appropriate punishing but In total fairness with Gary not here it Just feels a bit tawdry to have him involved in the discussion . The witness has the right to mention it if he feels it’s appropriate but to have The man involved in this discussion here , as with many and varied ones before it doesn’t feel respectful to me personally.

I agree. It feels utterly irrelevant to the actual trial anyrate. He has already been proven guilty on numerous accounts, so why lob Speeds name in to the mix which will only upset his family.

Sad and disturbing news coming out, by the sounds of it it's likely something did happen, the witness was saying Gary's parents still havnt had closure on why he took his own life and that Gary is one of four men who committed suicide all coached by bennell

I would rather remember the time we were dropping towards the relegation zone and we had Spurs at home.Really struggling in the game until he met a cross from the right and put an unstoppable header into the top corner for the winner.Class player.

Exactly .

Speculating about something that ‘probably did happen ‘ just doesn’t feel remotely appropriate . We’ve no idea what did or didn’t happen in his life other than it was a terrible loss .
