Was unsworth after about 15 seconds left footed drive from the left hand side of the area across the goal keeper

He scored an amazing free kick to make it 3-0 to Everton against Tottenham at Goodison one year. I remember it well as it was the last match I went to see at goodison. I went with my best mate in Liverpool who supports Tottenham, he was understandably gutted by the result as he was fully expecting a win against an utterly mince Everton side.

I forget the year... mid 90s.

A forgettable period in our history

Some Everton fan nearly cleared up in that game... he put a fiver on every one of evertons back 4 scoring ... think we were 3-0 at half time and all but one of the defenders had scored... remember the commentator mentioning it in the second have of the game.. was Naismith,yobo and I can't remember who else scored... I think Hibbing was playing... lol so maybe he wasn't as close as he thought to collecting

Securing us a place in Europe in 07 with one of his last touches for us in a 3-0 win against Portsmouth. And the early gallant performances that led to comparisons with Roberto Carlos in some quarters...

We hammered them that day, so sunny as well. Was camping in the Dales at the time. D of E Silver I think.

Hi Angusfifer, don't forget to remind him how as a youngster he had an absolute nightmare against Kevin McAllister in the 97/98 Scottish cup here's wee crunchie's goal as a taster,Hearts went on to win the game but Gary was given a lesson that day from McAllister wh was about 35 at the time.
