Played ok yesterday but its so clear that the whole team drops off when playing. The whoopers will make his look his 90 uears of age if he plays in the derby. Spurs he was rubbish. Average v west brom. And yet again when he came on yesterday we dropped off. I have a feeling now as snides will be out he will start and i can be vaulted on this. I think it will be the key call. If he plays we have not tempo in that match on or off the ball and the little tip tap players of the whoopers will run through us like a knife through butter. Ps. He will also turn his back on shots

Im hopng Schneids injury isnt too bad or Maccas recovery isnt scuppered ny thr Republic.
You then have to weigh up if a less than 100% Morgs or J Mac is preferable to a fit Barry
Honestly, I'm thinking 3-4-3 could be the answer

I'd be playing 343 in all those difficult away games irrrespctive of who's fit mate. Think I'd find room for Macca if he's fit. May need his kegs and we dudnt half notice when he had to go off in the Goodison derby. Even if its just fresh legs to replace Davies after 60.
that would work though I'm not sure how much he trusts Davies yet to be disciplined in a 2 man midfield. He seems to be the one that is allowed to roam a little more freely from midfield duties. If Mccarthy is fit he'll be a shoe in I reckon though I like the look of that side Mikey.
Regardless if Morgan is fit or not, I wasn't us to be solid but have lace where we can hit them on the counter. Not like the Spurs game where that was just defensive from the off with no plan of action

Let's be fair, he had a very good game against West Brom and fully justified his selection by Koeman. He was probably one of the best two or three players on the pitch that day. I don't want him in the derby and I didn't want him against Spurs, but he uses the ball well still and he has his uses in certain types of games. He's actually had a pretty good season until probably the last couple of months, which has coincided with Schneiderlin signing.

Fair enough. Prob had a good game v west brom but completely out if his comfort zone against the top 6 teams. His mobility is just not there. The idea that he is an intelligent football is true but his body looks 5 mins behind his brain. Not his fault. Its age. Can anybody say he would start for any of the other top teams in a big match. No way. Not at utd/others/spurs/arse/city/chelsea. And until players like barry are not getting near our team we will finish 7th.

United have a similar issue with Carrick. I hope he plays against us as Gana and Davies will be all over him.
As long as he doesn't go the comb over route I'll still love him, but if he tries that he is dead to me!
