I looked at Gueye's stats - he didn't commit or suffer a foul all game?

?!?
He definitely committed at least one foul - got a yellow vard unfortunately! Whoscored have him with 2 fouls committed but none suffered.

Given we were playing Stoke very low foul count overall, Holgate suffered he most but that was only 3.

Edi sorry, though you were talking about Barry at the first bit, but according to Whoscored Gueye same figures as Barry, 2 commited, none suffered.

4-4-2 isn't very accurate with those stats for some reason, to be fair. The rest seem to be spot on, but fouls are never on point...

Gueye didn't get booked. Barkley & Barry did.

Barry is ace, even I, who don't always really appreciate a decent player, know that.

Managers, coaches and his fellow pros all praise his skill and attitude so when I see and hear people berating him, I wonder what they're actually watching. Granted, if you're not watching him week in, week out, you don't fully appreciate him, but the cast majority of City and Villa fans I've spoken to have nothing but good things to say about him.

Not just his attitude on the pitch/training ground, seems sound away from football as well.

Gareth Barry's loan move to Everton from Manchester City has disappointed workers who wash the City players’ cars.

Barry was the only one of City’s many millionaires who could be relied on to tip well. The cost of a clean and valet is £25 and even that could be a battle to collect from some City players.

Barry needs replaced by a Xabi Alonso type player. Someone who can help with the defensive side but spring a pass with the ball. Someone to make Barkley look as good as Gerrard looked with Alonso in that team. Who this player is I have no clue but I'm sure Steve Walsh will have some idea.

Could it have been one of the players we could not sign in the window?
