They've really given Stannis a raw deal in this series. He's the best character in the books along with Davos but on this series he barely gets any screen time. It's a joke that he comes and saves the wall and then barely gets a mention ffs.
could have been such a boss scene as well, instead it looks like he interruped a tea break, and it would have shown viewers stannis is the only king who values duty over ambition

I thought he was just attacking the wildlings at first

k

Pfft even more pissed off now I think about it, The hound would of battered her ffs, One of the best actors in it for me and those two had some great scenes, Its like they bump them off to go "Ha look were not arsed, we kill who we want" Whilst leaving the boring sh1t ones alive
yeah no doubt brienne was tough and would beat most men, but she wouldnt beat one of the strongest men on the planet, I just ended up feeling a bit robbed after the episode

Yer me too, Thing is I said to my mate this morning I thought he would die tonight, That coin she game the sailor was the one she received from Jaqen H'ghar?

Can I just say....
Is ANYONE on this world at all arsed about Bran's storyline? I honestly couldn't care less when that kid died and I wouldn't if Bran got viciously slaughtered. It's like some naff kids film plot. Honestly don't give one about fighting skeletons and boring acting and some tree god thing.

In the books Bran's story has always been one of the dullest by far along with Daneerys. I hope her dragons vaporise her.

be arsed with posh kid storylines, its like a narnia spin off, i was glad when that rosy cheeked beaut got knifed, the wolf and hodor are okay like

Great episode, just showed how terrible last weeks was.
100% this.

However tonight's wasn't great - too many deviations from the books that actually didn't make sense, when you think about what we know of the characters.

How on EARTH would Brienne ever beat the Hound in a fight? This is the same Hound who, in the first series, went toe-to-toe with his brother the Mountain, and held his own. In the book Brienne and the Hound don't even cross paths ffs.

Why would Tyrion trust Varys to help him escape from Kings Landing? The whole thrust of Tyrion's story this season has been that other than Jamie, NO-ONE in his life can be trusted. Even Bronn let him down. But with a death sentence hanging over his head he relies on Varys? Huh?

Left out some very important dialogue between Tyrion and Tywin too.

Where was Coldhands? The books have yet to establish his true identity, so it's a hell of a risk to leave him out of the show!

Reading the books first is spoiling the show for me.

They also left out jamie telling Tyrion the truth about his first wife. It was weird that they parted on good terms. In the books Tyrion hated Jamie.
