well could they have made a smaller deal out of stannis saving the wall when no one else in the kingdom would, starting to lose faith with this, I've not read the books, but the writing is feeling nihilistic just for the sake of it

Yes I know! They made it feel like he was being a nob to the wildlings or something. Really annoying me how they're handling Stannis.
 
When I read the books, I always pictured Stannis as the bad guy from First Knight (you know, that rubbish Arthur film with Sean Connery/Richard Gere...but Julia Ormond....mamma mia!!!). So I have never warmed to him. Yes he has the best claim to the throne, I just thought he was a bit of a tool.
 
What an amazing finale, so much drama packed in...Bit surprised to see jonjoe or whatever his name is die and they are not going with coldhands....I hope they are equaly economic with the characters in series/book 5 as there are a lot of pointless and annoying new people

Can't wait for the finale tonight

Will be a bit weird having to wait 10 months for the next one as I've been watching them back to back for a few weeks
