In what way, Dan?

Blackwater still my number 1 favourite ep, but I like his role as hand to blondie. It's a progression which makes sense, and one he deserves. Anyway, with Tyrion (and more specifically the actor who plays him) it's almost irrelevant what the writers do with him, the screen just lights up when he's on.

I'd agree he's even more entertaining if he has a great foil: Varys is almost as good as Bronn in that respect.

BB was excellent. Maybe top 5. Proper pulp fiction. But it lacked memorable women and its final season went a bit OTT.

Battlestar Galactica is the only series I've ever seen without anything really wrong with it. I was fine with the ending too.

My Battlestar brother!

The show was superb, not a thing wrong with it. And finished it all up before they ran out of ideas, and finished it in a meaningful way.

Battlestar Galactica is the best show on earth. Season 3 of BSG had an amazing episode that left my skin tingling and just amazed at how friggin amazing it was!

If I wasn't clear I meant GOT wasn't better than Breaking Bad, not whatever BSG is.

Battlestar was decent, lost interest near the end though.

Speaking to someone in work they reckon the first episode is one of their favourite episodes of all time of any show.

Going to give it a go seeing some though I haven't seen a space show since firefly

I haven't seen Firefly, looks a bit silly...I prefer my sci-fi a bit more serious in tone.

Make sure you watch the mini-series before Season 1 Episode 1. this one:

He wasn't 'hand to blondie' til the last episode of season 6. Aside from that he really didn't do much, he made eunoch jokes and talked about how much he likes wine to Grey Worm and Missandei. Not sure they knew what to do with him, hence that random scene with the dragons. His dialogue has been off this season, and he's become a caricature of himself; "I drink wine and I know stuff".

He was effectively her hand (or chief advisor if you prefer) over the last season-and-a-half. I agree his story hasn't been as epic as it was in previous seasons, but he's still great value. And I liked his dragon scene...was nicely touching. It's generally nice to see him relatively happy after the trauma of before.

The "I drink wine and I know stuff" has joined "too old", "you know nothing, Jon Snow" and many others in the pantheon. It's a caricature but a good one, ha.

oh aye, S3's take on
necessary terrorism
was an amazing angle for the show to take: it was during those eps that I started to appreciate how good BSG is....culminating in S3's jawdropping finale...ye gods!

aye, i think this is a problem with a lot of shows: they don't know how to pace and finish succinctly: so you get things like Breaking Bad's OTT final season and Lost's horrendous Season 6 and a Season 3 full of filler. Even Sopranos, while always high-quality, went on too long.

Game of Thrones has an end-game shaping up...it looks like they'll probably time it just about right, I gather there's only two seasons left and both will only have 7 eps each.

The New Caprica rescue for me is the best moment I have witnessed in TV.....the Galactica jumping in, launching Vipers and then jumping back out......bloody hell!!! Skin tingling moment that!

Firefly is awesome mate. It is serious Sci FI with humour added to it.

Easily for me one of the greatest potential shows of all time. Turns out they even showed the episodes out of order in USA and started them without telling people it was airing.

And they wonder why it didn't get ratings! Would have been highly acclaimed if it was left to run properly
