Game Of Thrones: Season 8

I think you are confusing how spectacular it was with how good it was. It was certainly visually spectacular, but...

... how they can let Varys die because Tyrion dobbed him in without any explanation of why either of them did that or why, or how Tyrion can ask "the greatest smuggler" to use his talents to put a boat on a beach and then leave it there, in order that a one-handed man can then use it to escape by rowing across the ocean to Pentos with the person who has been trying to kill them both for a season (and him for at least seven seasons), or why the Hound would let Arya travel the entire length of the continent with him only to abandon her in the map room because "to continue would be death" when going back outside is 99% death anyway, or why Qyburn tried to insist that the Mountain had to protect Cersei rather than expecting him to defend her by attacking the Hound anyway, or why dragonfire suddenly was able to explode stone, or why all those ballistae suddenly missed... or where that bloody horse came from
Did you not enjoy it though? lol

Fan Fiction Spoiler Alert

This is my final last ditch attempt to get a job writing the conclusion of GOT.

Do you know what dragons are vulnerable too? Three eyed ravens! Only one caveat though, they have to be on fire when they impact the dragon. The final scene will be forcing Brann Xavier to sit onto a scorprion bolt, before being covered in burning oil and then shot into the sky at the last dragon. Jon Snow against a blue moon backdrop overlooks the prone Dany dying in the night, her final words fall from her, "...but I had 97 points." "No respecto Dany... no respecto."

Roll credits.

It started going down hill around the time of the dorne and sandsnake stuff but the last season and this one specifically have really took a nose dive.

Fat man deserves a lot of the blame aswell for not pulling his finger out and finishing the books

That was a bit gash, at least the dragon put in a bit of effort this week, shame he couldn't do that last week, guess the occasion got to him.
Mate, you gotta pysch yourself up for something like that! You can't just turn it on! I mean one minute he is joyfully playing with his brother, next minute he is staring down special forces snipers!

I can’t believe people (not specifically on this forum, just in general) are actually still defending this absolute dumpster fire. “Oh the bells, the bells!”, give me a break. If anyone still doubts that dumb and dumber don’t know what they’re doing, I would advise them to examine the case of Jaime Lannister from season 1 to season 8.

I agree with it being a pretty shabby season, going against whats been set up, but I kind of enjoyed that.
