Game Of Thrones: Season 8

Urgh, it's just so bad. I cant believe how bad it's got, the rushed nature of this season has definitely played a part but nothing excuses the poor writing and storytelling that's been on display for all to see. With only one more episode to go they can't do anymore damage then they already have. 70 odd episodes and they go out like this! They seriously could of used fan fiction and got far better results then this trash!

It wasn't a bad episode.
I think this was the best episode of the series so far. In fact the most damage it did was to the previous few episodes by showing how bad things should be when you go up against a dragon and previous episodes weren't up to scratch with that.

I am so glad that the spoiler I saw on Friday was just a load of hokum. Dany sure is mad though.

I think you are confusing how spectacular it was with how good it was. It was certainly visually spectacular, but...

... how they can let Varys die because Tyrion dobbed him in without any explanation of why either of them did that or why, or how Tyrion can ask "the greatest smuggler" to use his talents to put a boat on a beach and then leave it there, in order that a one-handed man can then use it to escape by rowing across the ocean to Pentos with the person who has been trying to kill them both for a season (and him for at least seven seasons), or why the Hound would let Arya travel the entire length of the continent with him only to abandon her in the map room because "to continue would be death" when going back outside is 99% death anyway, or why Qyburn tried to insist that the Mountain had to protect Cersei rather than expecting him to defend her by attacking the Hound anyway, or why dragonfire suddenly was able to explode stone, or why all those ballistae suddenly missed... or where that bloody horse came from

Jaime Lannister...should have died a few seasons ago but still going strong, even with multiple stab wounds and looking finished on the beach. Him and Cersei will still be there in the next episode.

Your stuff in the spoiler. Cry me a river. That is all crap with someone looking to be unhappy with the product. And this is the first episode I've actually liked this season.

Varys getting done was clear from last episode. I don't know if you watched the last five minutes or the first five minutes of this episode. He was being belligerent in his actions to get rid of Daenerys.

Jamie Lannister was captured, Cersei was facing almost imminent death. They even spelled it out for you, if the wind is good you'll escape. I mean come on.

And the stuff about the hound and Arya is possibly the dumbest complaint. They didnt know she was gonna lose her marbles and burn it all down. The hound saw the state of affairs and told her to leave. I'm not sure how that is confusing to anyone. Travelling the continent isn't anything like what was happening in that situation.

The only complaint you have that makes any sense to me is the one about the horse. I don't get that at all. But then again it's a dumb show about dragons ffs

Yes sir, you should have written it.

I've watched and loved GoT from the beginning; I even liked the battle of Winterfell. The last two episodes have been terrible.

Varys killed because he turned against Dany ten minutes ago, and the master of whisperers betrays her by writing letters to all the nobility where he says Jon has a better claim than she does - which is true. Burned to death without any explanation of why he had done it, or even fulfilling his promise to tell her why he had done so.

Cersei had executed Missandei, had repeatedly tried to kill Tyrion (and Jaime), and so Tyrion would obviously decide to help her escape even though it is a betrayal several million times worse than the one he had just dobbed Varys in for. His plan requires someone to row them out to sea, so obviously a one handed man is the best person you'd use to do that, and also they have to somehow avoid the attentions of a dragon.

As for the Hound, he was going up against his brother - that is what he meant by certain death, and why he jibbed her off then rather than when the city started to burn down around them.

If you think that was a good episode, then good luck to you. I wouldn't watch seasons 1-7 though as you will realise how wrong you are.
