Hardhome blew me away for how good it was visually and edge of your seat stuff. Battle of the bastards was great for the tactics, even the end of series 7 was great for again not knowing what would happen.

Dramatic moments felt a bit flat to me. Especially ones with Dany but that's no big surprise anymore.
Arya relationship thing felt rushed but w/e. So does everything else nowadays.
Just a wee tease of Ghost there. Just looked like a normal dog?? Put the dog on a stool if you couldn't afford the CGI ffs. But at least they haven't totally forgot about him.

Ghost was the runt remember.... So being the size of a large dog kind of makes sense
