Quite correct mate. I love Carlow. One of my favourite restaurants is Clashganny House.Excellent food.

KK is my adopted home for 32 years, and I love it. Lovely people, great neighbours. However, their Hurling fans would really test the patience of a saint.

No talking to them. My Tipp wife's best friend is an absolute pet but she completely changes if we talk about Hurling. Not called the Cats without reason.

Good stuff pal, just think in another couple of days youl be awash with anti bodies and can chill for the summer, the fatigue and muscle aches (for me were the worst)!

Funny story, we went down to play Laois in Nowlan a few years ago in the first round of Leinster when we were in our pomp. We rocked up into a shop into the town to grab a few bottles of water for the match - was scorching! Young fella looked at our Jerseys and said “Do you have a chance of winning today lads” - we were unbeaten in about 50 games, when we told him that, he goes “well no one follows the football do they”! lol
