Will never be able to understand this mindsetAnd that's not a bad thing. Europe would ruin us with this squad. Look leggy at best of times. Would ned 3 or 4 more of KDH/Grealish quality in my mind to compete with two games per week
This is very true. Ridiculous, but true
Yes, Tony Gale was pretty sound (despite the early comment that Mykolenko was 'good on the ball'). George looked promising in his brief debut. Armstrong kept his own even though he had a weaker game. I would have swapped him back to the right earlier as Ndiaye had their right back on toast. Be interesting to see who takes the Grealish 'hole' in the team out of Armstrong, George, Röhl, Alcaraz and Dibling. I think it's pretty much in that order at the moment.Definitely a game of two halves, we were fortunate to still be in touch at half time, but we're far the better tram second half, thing is we can't keep playing half a game, the problems in the 1st half just needed a couple of minor tactical changes and should have been dealt with earlier, thought the ref was an absolute bellend, on the plus side Tony Gale was co commentator on my stream and it made a change listening to some one talk sense and was very complimentary of our club and fans
The two things are not the only options ,yes it is better but is it the best we can play ?I still can’t believe the Moyes bashing to be fair. For years we have watched Rafael, Lampard, Dyche etc and people are complaining about Moyes. Just insane.

I get that people don’t like Moyes…
Seriously tho:
- We don’t win:
“It’s Moyes”
- We change the team and draw:
“If Moyes had changed earlier and then we win”
- We change early & draw:
“Moyes should have a better selection at the start”
- We win:
“Moyes should have won better”
Honestly……
Wouldn't say pure luck. In fact I remember a recent home game on opening day I think against Fulham where we were unbelievably wasteful in and couldn't believe we lost. Nice to be on the other side of it.
No arguments with the first halves and initial selections. Infuriating. But 2nd half we improved and thought we merited at least a point. It was hardly a smash and grab where we never threatened at all and just happened to score twice out of nothing.
But it comes accross on here that many people would rather he starts their preferred lineup but lose the match.
Because the reason we won was partly down to his lineup. There is not much between us and Fulham in quality and they were at home.
An away win today was the third most likely outcome according to the bookies yet we did it. And it was highly likely because of Moyes team selection that we did win. Under Martinez, Silva, Dyche etc we lose that match...
I agree we were fortunate to be 1 down at half time and 2 down would have been completely fair. But regardless we werent and we won the game. Moyes is a geniusNot sure what your getting at?
Setup was dreadful
Fulham could have scored any of 6 chances
No changes half time.
We were incredibly lucky 2nd game in a row that the opposition werent out of sight at half time.
Wonderful win.
Don't forget lack of ambition from the owners too — probably above all else.
