I get that people don’t like Moyes…

Seriously tho:

- We don’t win:
“It’s Moyes”
- We change the team and draw:
“If Moyes had changed earlier and then we win”
- We change early & draw:
“Moyes should have a better selection at the start”
- We win:
“Moyes should have won better”

Honestly……
The problem is we played some very poor first halves this season. And Moyes isn't the most adventurous manager in the world. Most people hate a lacklustre team, without any serious attacking intentions.

I think he did a great job last season and he does a decent job this season but he has been lucky with some of the results. I just think he is not the type of manager who will take us to the next level. But hey, not complaining at the moment. 7th is great (for now) 😉

I mean if we can play [Poor language removed] and still get points, where's the problem? Isn't that the sign of a good team?
It’s not sustainable mate. If a double hard fighter ties a hand behind his back and sparks a few people it’s a novelty, but once he starts getting dropped himself it’s a bit sad and pointless. We need to stop giving teams a head start in the hope our late subs will rescue us because soon they won’t.

They are just about all true ,he is a liabilty and a lucky one at that . Did you think the team playing his way played well ? Or more do you think theteal playing his way plays well ? I cannot remember us having a full game good performance ,I am though happy with nicking the wins but I am under no illusion this has not been a good season for football for us .

Some people are only happy when they’re complaining mate, I’m convinced.

Newcastle i think will finish strong once they get their injured players back and their schedule improves, and I dont see any of the current top 6 finish lower. So perhaps 8th or 9th is up for grabs
It’s like snooker. You don’t worry about what the guy in the chair is doing. If we just plug away we could potentially get Europe. We’ve had most of the season without Branthwaite and he is being softly reintroduced.

We started well and ended the 1st half well. In between that we could have been buried yet we still could have scored a couple in the 1st half as they could have scored more. 2nd half we dominated and in the end victory was deserved. This is night and day from a couple of seasons ago. Progress is there for all to see but yet the progress is not satisfying many fans for reasons of there own.

How many goals could Fulham have scored 1st half?

6?

They didnt score more is extremely lucky for us.

KDH scoring was lucky as was the keepers OG.

The selections have been very very very bad as have the 1st halves.

Super relieved but i see it as pure luck.

Wouldn't say pure luck. In fact I remember a recent home game on opening day I think against Fulham where we were unbelievably wasteful in and couldn't believe we lost. Nice to be on the other side of it.

No arguments with the first halves and initial selections. Infuriating. But 2nd half we improved and thought we merited at least a point. It was hardly a smash and grab where we never threatened at all and just happened to score twice out of nothing.

If you want give Moyes 100% of the credit for the points, and not the players thats fine. Just remember that is the case when we dont win. Personally I think the players deserve more credit than the manager. Once again he started us off in a hole with crappy team selection. We were all over the place first half...again. Second half they played much better, not because of a brilliant change in tactics. I support Everton, I support the effort of the players. Great win. Moyes is a stubborn old dinasaur of a manager whose default is to play safe boring football. All things can be true:) Great win today, lets take the momentum into Tuesday's game for once:))
But it comes accross on here that many people would rather he starts their preferred lineup but lose the match.

Because the reason we won was partly down to his lineup. There is not much between us and Fulham in quality and they were at home.

An away win today was the third most likely outcome according to the bookies yet we did it. And it was highly likely because of Moyes team selection that we did win. Under Martinez, Silva, Dyche etc we lose that match...
