Moaning and groaning never bothers me but it's always been a problem for me when you can sense a section of fans waiting to get on a player's back. They've got to know if they do something positive and it doesn't come off they'll still get the crowd on their side.
I've played with people who had a right go at you when you needed it. It's totally different from playing in a team with someone whose always looking to moan at you.

Yeah i agree with that, not a fan of the crowd getting on the back of individual players at all. Particularly when it's the ones most inclined to try something different who are being made to think twice about it.

Not counting june and july.
We never won a game last may at home and the 7 months this season including feb.
Thats 8 months mate and i know how disgusted you feel but don't worry the clown will be gone very soon

The reason we are so poor at home is the tactics and the manager not cute enough to know what to do.

We can win most games. We have players who look fantastic when confidence is high. Fair enough if you think the only reason they are not is Martinez but plenty of other possible reasons too. I've heard this argument made about Kendall and Mike Walker so just at the moment I'm keeping an open mind.

The, "You dont go the match, so you have no voice" and the "I paid my money I can cry if I want to" arguments are quite disgusting in my eyes.

How did you get any of that from what I wrote. People who do and don't go the game can 'Cry' all they want and about what they want, nor am I saying that the criticism Barkley gets (gets a tougher deal than other players) is right.

Everyone has their own opinions on Everton and individual players, that goes without saying. My issue is with posters spending more time criticising the atmosphere than they do the manager who has single handedly created the anxiety amoungst the fan base.

TBH goat this won't be the first time I have said it but I genuinely believe match going fans do have a bigger voice than non match going fans. I've been consistent on that whenever the issue has popped up. NEA. An I don't go the game at all BTW. Criticise all you want about Everton issues, slagging off fans, in an age when the cost of football is a massive issue issue, is a poor do. Even worse from those that don't go.

I'd say it's a massive thing for someone like Barkley. A split second doubt in his mind is a real problem and it's the main thing that's changed this season.

This is our best ever squad in the premiership and martinez is letting it down badly

That's pretty much the guts of it right there ^^^.

They also know that if (as last week) we get one result and nose our way into 8th, the screams go away.

In short, we're at a point which the mathematician philosopher, John Nash, would call 'suboptimal equilibria': no one's completely happy with the situation, but it has stability for now so we carry on with that.

But we had the making of a fantastic squad when people wanted him out first time. And some of what was dished up was much worse than now.
I'm really not a Martinez apologist, I'd just rather not risk disrupting this squad when we can do things to improve with him still here
