An army of cry babies stamping their feet wont influence the actions of owners who look at this and think: "WTF are these entitled tits chattering about? The feller is doing his job as far as we're concerned. We dont care if you want your route one muck back. It'll cost if we took your advise to get rid and then we could saddle ourselves with an utter weapon who'll take us down. We see a load of value getting heaped on those assets in blue jerseys and the PL tv cash cow is safe as houses".

They also know that if (as last week) we get one result and nose our way into 8th, the screams go away.
In short, we're at a point which the mathematician philosopher, John Nash, would call 'suboptimal equilibria': no one's completely happy with the situation, but it has stability for now so we carry on with that.
