And their behavior is contributing to the problem.
Is your gofundme link a campaign where we can donate for you to come over and watch us? Because it would be good if you did that, just once, before you continued to slate the people who spend their money and time travelling up and down the country (and abroad) to watch their team.

I've said it before but people sitting in front of the TV or computer screen moaning about the atmosphere at a game really winds me up. I'm one of the people you're complaining about, I admit it. I don't boo, but i do moan and groan. I don't mean to, but I can't help getting frustrated when we make the same mistakes for the 20th game in a row. I did an 8 hour round trip to go to the game on saturday, cut me some slack for not being all sweetness and light when Phil Jagielka put a 40 yard shot out for a throw in or Kone tripped over his own feet when we were desperate for a goal.

Boss article by the way Chico.

The point is the home fans have no faith we can win a game and results show they are correct.
We can clearly win most games and I struggle to remember a season where we have been so rarely outplayed.
Obviously something is missing but it's more than likely it's a number of small things that could easily be sorted. I just don't see getting rid of the manager as one of them at the moment because it always tends to be the easiest option. Even if it was I don't see it happening because of some booing fans.
What it has done, which I think is the point of this thread is polarise the fans and made rational change less likely. I'm already finding myself reluctant to repeat doubts I had about Martinez because it becomes part of the clamour to get shut, and I'm sure loads of others are the same.
The fact that a game like West Brom added fuel to some people's anti Martinez thinking does make me feel some people are becoming desperate for him to fail.

Tar man, you should have a go at writing something and get it lashed up on the front page. I said this to @Saint Domingo too, you both write well and explain your points.

I guess I'm glad it winds you up. Cause it embarrasses me every time it happens.

Who do you mean mate?
That it's laughable. We have committed fans spending hundreds an even thousands of pounds a year to support the club, they can act how they see fit based on what's being served up. Also the initial quote was per person, you're a father so if you're paying for Jr the cost could be even higher. Utterly disgraceful comments.

I'd like you all to read back the past page and see how it starts, with the division and snide comments to each other.

Then this thread turns into the same as the others and it puts people off posting who have a valid point as any.

It's the same 15 posters (me included) going round and round with cheap point scoring.

In fact @micknick @The Esk @Woolly Blue @Groucho @Dutch Toffee

What are you doing here?

How can we clearly win most games thats a daft statement.
The reason we are so poor at home is the tactics and the manager not cute enough to know what to do.
He has won 4 home games in 8 months with this great squad it doesn't take einstein to know where the problem is

Mad if people are having a go over that match.

It was unlucky...and not in the sort of unlucky with a drop in confidence and willpower that is so tough to take. We outplayed them. They played absolutely stellar defense and our players just couldn't make the breakthrough. That happens to all teams in football some times. Losing like yesterday hurts, but shouldn't be something that anyone points to as a mark against the team or the manager.

Wish some of our players would take a shot rather than an extra touch, but that's easily chalked up to confidence, age, and pressure.

No real blame to be had for that game. Unless you want to blame West Brom for actually showing up and putting in a hell of a shift.

Im definitely on the fence. Love watching us play most of the time. Play some super football and look the best team most matches we play. Have some seriously talented players who probably wouldn't be here with out martinez but our current results are not consistent enough.

I dont go to away games anymore, for logistical and cashflow issues, are you suggesting I can only comment on the atmosphere at Goodison?

Which for the record is full of clueless entitled bellends who shout SHOOT ROSS every 5 seconds and do nothing but slate every player they see fit in a blue shirt.

The, "You dont go the match, so you have no voice" and the "I paid my money I can cry if I want to" arguments are quite disgusting in my eyes.

We finish 11th or below and the talented players will be off

Moaning and groaning never bothers me but it's always been a problem for me when you can sense a section of fans waiting to get on a player's back. They've got to know if they do something positive and it doesn't come off they'll still get the crowd on their side.
I've played with people who had a right go at you when you needed it. It's totally different from playing in a team with someone whose always looking to moan at you.
