Who the feck counts the number of a people of a particular skin colour in an advert? I can't get my head around that mentality! (and who watches the adverts instead of putting the kettle on or go for a pee?)
They are very strange people.
They will call minority groups 'snowflakes' and then have a meltdown because an advert has a black person in it

lol

This, in a nutshell, is what is wrong with the free speech argument and how people misconstrue what it is to have free speech.

“What I’m shocked at, is that the biggest snowflakes in Milton Keynes …can’t handle someone having a different opinion.”

He spouts hateful stuff, people have the right to turn him away because of the hateful stuff. That is showing free speech on both sides of the argument. The prick wants it only one way, I can say what I like but nobody else can have a problem with it and react in their own 'free' way.

None of his followers see any irony in that.

A snowflake, I suppose, can be described as somebody who takes offence at things. Well, he should stop taking offence at people because they are a different colour to him. Maybe then he will get his chicken wings. Again, the hypocrisy/irony will be completely lost on his brain dead followers.

Free speech comes with responsibility, if you do not use it responsibly then expect reaction from other people who do use free speech responsibly.

If people are moaning because of the colour of someone skin on TV then they are racist. But if they are moaning because it doesn't represent the demographic of the UK then that is a whole different argument

What hateful stuff?

A video game just released called Forza 5 that has gone to the extent to cater for trans community by including a pronoun option for the game. It's a driving game so probably at no point will that factor into the gameplay but it's inclusive , you can choose your pronoun.

So some trans people have kicked off because the game tells them their dead name in the first minute of the gameplay , pulled from their own account details / previous games in the series.

The problem is, I've seen plenty of people who aren't trans voice their concern of how creepy and unsettling it was that their racing game said their own name to them, in their living room.

Problem with free speech is that you get this as well, how dare a game say my name to me.

Another little interesting thing is the story about jk Rowling being praised by one of the Harry potter actors.

That story has popped up twice for me, with the headlines offering both sides of the story. One saying the actress was praised for being grateful towards the chance Rowling gave her , the other sounding like she was going against everyone else by praising her.

Same story, reported two completely different ways to offer a different version of events. That is the danger of free press / speech on the internet. That is how easily a story can be manipulated into serving your own meaning.

Jimmy Carr hey, tax dodger, now exercising his right to free (as in no tax paid) speech about the Holocaust and the Romany people in particular.
Has he run out of funny things to say so now is resorting to shock humour?
