On the other hand I am really looking forward to playing first team football now, so hopefully good things come from this decision...

Yep. It's gonna be a quiz question in the future that actually - name an Everton player who played in Europe but never played a league match.

That's what we need, btw: games to blood players like him. The LC is way too important for us to let kids loose in; even early rounds against lower league opposition. We first saw the likes of Duffy and Rodwell in dead Europa league matches. Down side of course is that the EL will screw up our season badly.

Just one of the many wonderful paradoxes at Team Everton.

When was the last time Moyes got it wrong tho.

Name 1 player Moyes has let leave Everton and they have come good.

I wont accept Lescott, cos Moyes tried his best to keep the judas and I wont accept Rooney, cos, 50m only Kenwrong said.

And I defo wont accept McFadden.

He did play a league game for us - sub v Wolves a couple of years back, we won 3-0.

Good luck to him - the decision will have been his, he could always have said no and stayed. Also if he's good enough to play in the Premier League he'll end up back in it - simple as really.

Arteta when he went to Arsenal, but that's not really comparable.

John Ruddy.

Would never have got an England call up as third choice at Everton, arguably one of the league's top keepers last season.

Other than that I'm struggling.

what of Conor McAleney? he's a very good prospect, very direct and confident player. he should be given a chance in the first team.

i thought that moyes' philosophy was that he gives young players a chance at Everton.

Wierd this one.. unless we are that strapped for cash. Are we not the club that nutures youth and gives them a shot at first team football? Bizzare
