Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

Remember that bird he picked up at Grimsby? Stunner...

I can say it now cos he's passed away (rip) but that was Shirley's dad who had a sex change 6 months earlier and offered me a great deal (241) so I had a bit of rumpy pumpy with Shirley and Tezza got Candy for the night but was really Carl.

We always said if you remember when Carl used to go round wearing his mums knickers as a joke that he could pass as a woman as his legs were long and he used to shave them as he said he had to for the swimming comps he was doing down at the local swimming baths

Not to be politically incorrect, but I've heard so many similar stories. There's more ladyboys in Ritz nightclub on a Friday than there is in Thailand. Like the old joke, you can tell a coaster girl apart because she can use a urinal.

FYLDE STRETCH UNBEATEN RUN

Adam Rudge had one of his best games of the season and will be remembered by the Fylde back line as the striker bagged two goals and was a constant threat throughout the game. His first goal coming on eleven minutes when a long ball over the top found Rudge who was onside brought it down neatly, Wright rushed off his line to close him down but Rudge took it cleanly past him and scored into an open net. Fylde came back just after half time, right back Freddy Burton found Henderson with a cross from the right flank to the far post and Henderson met it with a well timed side footed volley beating the keeper before he could get across. Fylde gained momentum, Freddy Burton finding himself involved in attacking play again, this time the ball came to midfielder McGavin but his shot rolled wide of the post. Eastleigh penned inside their own half when O'Neill picked the ball up outside the box, turned and came forward, the goal opened up and he had time to get his shot away which rolled straight into the corner. Fylde now in the lead but it was to be short-lived when a short free-kick caught out Fylde which Rudge smashed his foot right through the ball sending it into the top corner, a wonderful strike! Fylde should really have won this game which they dominated possession and had their faire share of shots on target. Eastleigh took what little chances they had and came away with a point.

PETERBOROUGH RESULT.webp

It was time to turn our attention to the nation's favourite cup competition and up against The Coasters were League Two side Peterborough United. Russell Griffiths was back between the sticks for this one. It wasn't a typical cup tie during the first half as both sides seemed to be playing cautiously to begin the tie. Fylde won a free-kick 5 minutes into the second half, Tyrone O'Neill being brought down outside the box. Henderson stepped up with the sweet left foot of his and curled one low into the bottom corner. Fylde taking the lead in the F.A. Cup! Peterborough replied through Tom Sculley after he sent Ryan Croasdale the wrong way and got the shot away with his right foot from outside the box, Griffiths unable to see through the defence and couldn't get down in time to stop it. Fylde kept possession well trying to find a second, Peterborough held their line and dealt with the crosses sent into the box from Henderson who played on the right hand side due to injuries to Wright-Phillips and Smith. Peterborough looked to win the ball back and break with pace, the ball getting up the field fast but Fylde limited their opponents to long range efforts. The referee called time on a fairly matched cup tie with a reply set to take place in ten days time.

DF: We were matched out there today and Peterborough were a tough side to get near. We played well enough but we didn't do enough to break them down. I think they were there for the taking but we get another crack at it next week. Wright-Phillips is back training with us now and to have him available would be a massive boost.
