I think it would have been better if you'd made a thread spelling out every incident/reason etc why people should share your view so they can be privy to all the facts (a lot of people, myself included, aren't) rather than moaning at them for not knowing. The reason everyone reacted passionately to AB's post was that it spelled the situation out clear as day and blues could make a clear judgement on how it was terrible of the club to act as it did. Maybe if you could show that this is not one isolated example, people with less knowledge would join you on the street in protest.

I want change too, for the record.

mate it's all here to see. Just read the Kenwright board thread. You should know this stuff. One disaster after another. Look I know I'm going to piss a few off with this thread, but the truth does hurt.

He has a good point though. I think somebody out there needs to write up a massive list of all the s**t that has gone on, so you people can just link to that.

There was a really good picture somebody drew up which was like a list of the board's lies but i can't find it.

i understand this, but while the BU where marching most on her were ****ging them off. Not realising there just a group of loyal Evertonians who want the best for the club.

No matter how you feel about the club, the board, how much you desire change, there is no getting around the fact that the Blue Union are nothing more than a bunch of moaners who don't actually have a plan for anything and hate kirbky for some reason.

It was the 'way' they did it that I didn't understand.
We all know that the Board are useless at times, they keep a lot of secrets, 7 or 8 major things that they've failed to handle in the last decade, and not communicating better about the sale of the club . Kenwright has hardly any money, the club is not profitable. Now I'm not pretending I know more than most of the people on here but that's the general feeling I get, is that there are no bidders out there.
We are in a predicament with the economic liquidation and I for one would love to have some proper honest information instead of the nebulous answers we get at times. At least we've had a few answers from the Chief Executive this week (no matter how small they may be). When was the last time Bill said something or any of the shareholders for that matter, oops maybe I should protest!

yes agreed, not very clever if your after respect. But at least he's there heart on sleeve.

Im being objective actually mate.
I agree with a lot of what the BU stands for, BUT, the image of the clown and the endless ' wheres the money Bill ? ' Jokes have ended their credibility, in my opinion. ( MY OPINION BEFORE I GET PELTERS )

Now, if we want to change anything, it will cost money. Leaflets, t-shirts, Stamps Etc.. all cost money.
Its easy to fume on here, but it costs nothing.
Over 300 posts are on the Banned from Finch Farm Thread.. would those 300 put just a pound coin into a pot of action ? If it was easy, then I reckon yes.. I would throw a few quid at it myself, even just to become a pain in the ar*e for the owner.

We will beat Spurs tomorrow and once again, this will disappear off the radar..

I have the same opinion, but I didn't understand what they were trying to achieve.

publicity....

it was all about letting people know what's going on. Kenwright is a media darling, it's about changing the media view.

Thats the point Im trying to make. We arnt going to change ownership, but we can change perception.
Fellas are talking about emailing the club and moaning.. may work.. doubt it..
Why not bombard the BBC with letters, recorded post so they need signing for, and create a story ?
Send letters to Sky ? Personal letters to the likes of Savage, he would be bound to Tweet it, then there you go.. you have a story..
Guiness book of records.. most letters signed for on a single day... Bill Kenwright !

You may say Im a dreamer...

Agree with your views on the board Sharpy, always have, however I'm a bit far away to get in on the weekend march, come on mate, not EVERYONE is to blame for this.

I know you're not aiming at anyone in particular, but a few of us can't actually physically do a lot other than voice our concern from behind a pc.

elong I know your far way away mate. My beef is not with you. But I'm not going to start pointing fingers. It's about us all. I know you've agreed with me in the past. The people who read this, know who they are. Backing the board, happy clappers.
Pi just don't get why it's only now the getting angry, but in the past when the board where destroying out club they where happy with it..

Honestly mate, it's a long fight turning the country's media on their head and exposing the club for what it is. How you do that, and when it's done, will be a defining moment really. That's the big issue for me, how everyone thinks the sun shines out of their arsehole, it needs looking at.

I wrote an complaint email and got a reply. We have agreed to disagree, but that's about all I can do from here!

While the going is good nothing will happen and certainly not when we're sitting in 7th, 3 points off 4th before the new year. To get people protesting they need to see that things are getting worse and fast which we saw last year where there was a distinct possibility of us going down in the first half of the season, even with people still clapping Kenwright when we were up **** creek without a paddle that definitely had an effect on them because it forced them to do something in the January window (not much mind, Jelavic and Gibson were both made possible by Bily being sold and the Arteta money was off drinking cocktails somewhere with Shergar and spring heeled jack).
The thing is though to be aware of most of the failings of this board you need to be well read on all things Everton and that's simply too much effort for the common Everton fan. As has been said before in this thread they're quite happy getting the non-revised story of Kenwright; the story of the lifelong blue who was lucky enough to be our knight in shining armour saving us from the evil agent Johnson in the dark and miserable 90s who then steadied the ship over the past decade or so with the able help of David Moyes. Not many of the matchday crowd will know the full story of Kenwright being an egotistical and selfish man with, at best, an average aptitude for business who Everton are flourishing under not because of but more in spite of him and if it weren't for Moyes we'd likely still be premiership bottom feeders at best. Don't forget as well that there's an entire generation of Evertonians that think success is a respectable cup run and top 7 finishes and whose memory of Everton actually winning something is hazy at best ( I can personally vouch for that, I was 2 when we last won the FA cup and I barely even knew what was going on, I'm 20 now); to convince them that Everton is not just an also ran club but is actually a huge club historically and should, almost by right, be challenging for cups and leagues is no mean feat.
For the record I want change, whether that's with Kenwright staying at the helm but improving the business side of things so that we are profitable and our long term health on and off the pitch is guaranteed or, preferably, Kenwright and friends selling up to a real businessman who can give the manager a real transfer budget of about £10m-£15m a season while making sure the business side of things will run smoothly in both the short and long term. However, for change to happen it will probably take us teetering over the abyss before most people wake up and think "oh ****, we'd best sort this out," unfortunately because I can't see Kenwright selling up when his investment is likely to increase in value which would be the case if we won something or cemented ourselves in the top 4.
