Cancelled all my sport packages this morning...

There is so much room now for corruption, ain't being fleeced for this nonsense.

It the only way the will take notice once the money stops flowing.

Welcome to the ex-football-fan club.

VAR is absolutely demonstrating the incompetence and corruption in the game. Plus it destroys the excitement and flow. Previously we suspected dodgy bought off games, but now its providing clumsy proof.

Add the fact that we seem to be a cursed club to the obvious tv scripting and we have no chance.
 
Giving decisions like that was the whole point VAR was brought in. Martin Atkinson is an absolute clown but he can't see decisions like that so it is up to the VAR official to do his freaking job. I have no qualms with VAR as a concept, but I guess we should have seen this coming when the absolutely incompent officials we have already in this country were tasked with running it.

It was an absolute stonewall penalty, an absolute disgrace.

An entire life of loving football, but while that's been fading in recent years, it snapped for me tonight.

It's not about Everton, although them being abysmal doesn't help - it's about the lack of fairness, the corruption, the way money controls everything in the game.

I'm a season ticket holder who didn't go tonight because I simply couldn't be arsed. I stopped watching the moment that handball decision was made. I won't watch another minute of the sport.

Same as I've posted to a few mates. I'm definitely just an Everton fan now, no longer a football fan
 
That handball decision not being given totally contravens the rule change that they made in the Summer. Do the VAR officials not have a rulebook at hand?

VAR is being used to artificially create drama (among other things).

The match day and VAR officiating was a disgrace today. I'm guessing there will be no punishment for the inept officials.
