Colin Murray whilst prasing Kenwright as a person summed up a lot of evertonians feelings very well imo.

He kept repeating that we don't want a "sugar daddy" only that we want a plan in place to move us forward off the pitch and mentioned the failed stadium moves, he also brought up how you don't see everton shirts outside of goodison in shops etc and that he would be surprised if you could get an everton shirt in 20% of the relevant stores up and down the country. When someone text in that there are only 2 shops in the world where you can buy a shirt he was genuinely shocked.

Also mentioned about our net spend over the last 5 years and was asking why is it that low compared to "mid table" clubs.

think there will be calls on it later

Lescott and Rooney left yea. But we got Lescott's best years plus he was kind of an overrated CB IMO (but admittedly an extremely underrated LB and we had Baines). Rooney was a terror off the pitch then, if he came up though Man U's academy at the time he probably would have forced a move to Chelsea or something. Arteta-Fellani didn't mesh as Fellani dominated the ball while Arteta ran hopelessly around looking for something to do so one of them had to go. Arteta also spent his prime here all while being known as the best player outside the Sky 4. I think Bob wanted to sell Fellani and get McCarthy as it turned out as Fellani didn't really fit into Bob's system well (watch the few matches he played for us that season Fell is a terrible distrubitor in the attacking end).

This is what you said. It makes 99% of the above irrelevant.
When bigger clubs come calling for our players we've held on to them while other somewhat richer sides (Spurs, Liverpool) couldn't hold onto theirs.

When bigger clubs come calling for our players only one has stayed under kenwright

As per what @joey_macmo said - Mickey Gray ( ex Sunderland ) co pundit stuck up massively for Kenwright and co without knowing any real facts. The predictable inference from Gray being that Everton fans should know their place - prize bellend.

I'm hoping that this is going to be a slow burner until someone with real journalistic clout gets interested in what's going on.

The next banners should have a specific issue as to why we want Kenwright and the board out, i.e.

'3 FAILED STADIUM MOVES - KENWRIGHT OUT'
'£3M NET TRANSFER SPEND OVER LAST 10 YEARS - KENWRIGHT OUT'
'WHAT DOES ROBERT EARL DO? - KENWRIGHT OUT'

Etc. Hammer home to people exactly what the issues are and make it clear it has nothing to do with the manager or the players.
If you expand this to cover all the list of faults, it'll be dark with the number of planes. It'll be like the blitz all over again...

It was not complaining about the team or RM.

It was complaining about our board.

Good on NSNO.
I thought the website, NSNO, were nothing to do with it. In fact, one of the site owners (I assume) distanced themselves via twitter, and took umbrage at the NSNO lettering being in red!

The two callers said about lack of investment in the last 16 years, failed stadiums, horrendous marketing and commercials deal, lack of a plan and ideas and also that Kenwright being an Evertonian is irrelevant

...until someone with real journalistic clout gets interested in what's going on.

Sorry, what exactly is "going on"? I'm not being difficult here either...I genuinely don't understand what all the dissatisfaction is about and was surprised to see the flying banner stuff on the news and all over the BBC website.

A few people are moaning about lack of investment. Despite the fact that despite having at least three international players out injured, we fielded a team which include a 28 million centre forward and nine other current or former internationals.

A few people, you do make me laugh!! It's gathering momentum.

Lol, yeah cos its all because we've spent little this window :coffee:

And lets have it right, that 28 mil forward was funded by sales

But most of the media attention was negative?

One problem with a banner is most people who see it won't understand why we are unhappy with the board, its open to interpratation. Another problem is what you see is a one line sweeping statement with no explanation or debate. Collymores show did more to get people talking about the problems at Everton, questions can be answered on that type of platform.

Another issue there seems to be a lot of support coming out now for Kenwright, i didnt hear anywhere near as much of that after Collymore than we are doing now, with a banner you run the risk of dividing fans who might have been on yourside but who dont agree with your actions.

One worry the fans should have is the more stunts we (Evertonians) pull the harder its going to be have communication with the club, year by year that is becoming more and more difficult.

This reminds me of the idiom 'People should not fear their Governments; Governments should fear their People'.

Who needs who more, the Board or the Fans?
