We're in an age where single use plastic is rightly considered to be bad for the environment. If we are going to do this, at least use paper flags with a cocktail stick for a pole!!

Not a flag fan myself but last season, close to where I sit there was a young kid with his mum who was at his first game. Not every seat had a flag, his didn’t but someone passed him theirs. He loved it and was waving it like mad and was transfixed with it all.
This is in itself a reason to continue with these activities and excite the youngsters to be blues and ignore us grumpy old, weary blues.

Flags were great when standing was allowed memories of the Gladwys street with the Gold vision on were incredible never seen and Everton no 9 adorned like he was on his day he was breathtaking.... total idolisation from the street end what a sight to see.......

Unfortunately there isn't a definitive blueprint on what will work but I applaud their proactive efforts to improve the atmosphere and match day experience and the club for embracing it.
