OK, so it looks like my wife and I (USA-based Everton supporters) will be one of the few actually watching the Euro match vs. Lisbon on Feb. 16.
But that's OK. My mind is still exploding to the fact we're actually going to be inside Goodison Park watching the Blues live for the first time in our lives. :D

So I ask of you my Toffee brethren, what section should I buy seats at for my first time?
Disclaimer: my wife will be with me and though she likes great atmosphere, she doesn't like standing the entire game. (n)
And I know there are numerous obstructed views so I hope to avoid those! haha.

Thank you for any help.

And I also wanted to thank those who put in their advice on my first thread about my first time at Goodison and trying to get from London to Liverpool.
I booked my train tickets and I truly can not wait.
Thank you also for anyone offering the help with this new one.

COYB!

I wouldn't worry about low attendance mate, as long as it's not ridiculous everyone will still be up for it.

Arteta might start as well, the main man in all his real-worldy glory.

Should all be fairly straightforward travel wise if you get there early, hope you enjoy it!

you can't fault the view and if its a [Poor language removed] game its quiet enough for a decent kip!

To the original poster: i'm sure it'll be fine. Gotta be better than my first time. I think we got hammered by Bolton.

Have been in all the stands at Goodison (except Upper Bullens and Family enclosure). Loved the views from the Park End and also the Top Balcony. If you get tickets for the top Balcony, just make sure you ask for seats with unobstructed views. Worked for me in the past.

Personally, I prefer to watch from the Top Balcony, as I like to have a lateral view as opposed to being behind one of the goals.

Hi friend,

Excuse all my girlfriends on the site saying try 'the Bullens'-'Top Balcony' Etc:P
You are both Travelling a long way and to feel the REAL atmosphere at Goodison,You want to be with the HOME END fans.....I.E.-The Famous Gwladys Street (lower is best). It is probably one of the most historic home end atmospheres in the footballing world. If you want guaranteed Fantastic views and to be 'in the middle of it',then send me a PM and I will put you in contact with my friend in the Fan Centre, who will then on my instruction...sort you out with the best day youve had with your Kecks (trousers) on!
