I didn't hate them, but I was gutted when Stevens and Tricky Trev left us to play in Europe.

There have been many players who have left under clouds who I hated at that point in time. Time is often a healer and you move on.

Rooney leaving was a dagger to the heart and one that altered my perception of football. That one hurt the most.

But for sheer hatred it has to be Nicky Barmby. Never wanted him at the club in the first place, but even I couldn't envisage the way in which he left.

I still hate him to this day.

Well let me start hate is a strong word as at the time I was 9/10 in 2001 and Francis Jeffers moved to Arsenal. I had a poster of him on my bedroom wall and as soon as I found out ripped it up and had a massive tantrum.
