Personally I'd say 7th was neither good nor bad. It should be the minimum expectation every season for a team like ours.

6th is potentially doable but would rely on the likes of Arsenal to have a poor season again.

Seriously tho, we have the best team out of big 6, so anything below 7th would be disgraceful. And we have to challange 6th position as well. ManU, Arsenal or Spurs can be passed.

Why would you guess 9th or 10th? Outside of last season’s Top 6, who could realistically finish above us?

A return to Europe and no exits to anything other than top 6 away from home in the cups should be the minimum standard every season for Everton.

Understandably confidence is brewing.

Last seasons players look determined and focused.

New additions to be eased in generating competition.

Other teams looking less scary (wether it be playing poor or general lack of depth)

Arsenal look ropey.
Man Utd look poor, however expect them to grind out wins.
Spurs look weak in numbers.

Decent squad depth to cover injuries, suspensions and poor form.

Opposition with the additional stress of competing in Europe.

It’s looking like a good opportunity to mount a challenge for 5th. That may seem steep given where we have been but the teams above us are nothing to be scared of.

I’d say 1st, but I think we’re still too Everton for that at the moment, so I’ll say 2nd on goals conceded in the last minute of the last game of the season.

We seem to playing with confidence. Some easy teams coming up. Let's get some points, players get confident bit of swagger take it from there. I don't think 5th is out of our reach.

Spurs are a harry Kane ankle injury away from being in trouble.

Not playing in Europe should benefit us massively this season.

I see us finishing above Man Utd. The only teams I think will definitely finish above us are Man City and Chelsea, so I'd say 3rd is the highest we'll finish.
