I understand what people are saying about our squad. However, at times this season, we have been going into games with Naismith as our striker. Look at the strikers at other clubs, Giroud, Suarez, Sturridge, Rooney, van Persie, mata, Hazard, Torres, Soldado, Adabayeur, Aguero, Negredo Dzeko etc.
I know he's not first choice, but he's had to play a lot of games now due to injuries, and in the most important area of the pitch, you will struggle without those top players.

bets spelling ever

Staying out of the Europa league with our squad would be a bonus as it does not have the numbers, and it fetches next to nothing in revenue wise - 4th looks beyond us, but I would hope for that or 7th! I f we win the FA Cup then the Europa is a headache but the FA Cup win would be nice! A trophy Silverware we cannot refuse that!

It has to be disappointing.

Of course the way that you look at it, we'd have taken it at the start of the season as we were basically gonna have a rebuild. But our start, infact our brilliant first half of the season, and i'm gonna refrain from saying something bad, as to be fair, we played RS, Spurs and Chelsea away who have all been in top 4.

The disappointment for me was the glaringly obvious need for a striker, and us not managing to have one lined up at the start of January, and with the additional funds received from jela, only bringing in a loan player, who seemingly is gonna be another crock. The season isn't over, and our trickiest spell of the season is over, sadly 3pts from 12, is not a good return, and when you consider we outclassed United and Arsenal just 8 weeks prior, it's a bitterly disappointing position to be in.

I'd say screw the Europa League, but lets face it, we aren't getting Champions league in a hurry, and after all the dross our fans have had to put up with in the last 4 years, i think we deserve a good booze up in a dodgy Polish town, watching the blues.

Oh, I know it's unrealistic, but I could never accept anything less than winning as success

Gotta' take the small victories man, otherwise there really is no point. Only one side wins it and through the years there have been MUCH better sides than us that didn't either. If you can't take 1st, at least try to progress somewhere. Our problem nowadays is we're just hovering in no-man's land...tough spot to be in.

If we can't get first, then second is the goal, then third and so on.
We are not going to win the league anytime soon, and it is not a huge disappointment when we don't, but I still can't accept that being the best loser is success. An achievement, yes. But success, No
