I went on the tour several months back. One of those boxes is labelled 'Super Six', that is Jagielka's. The one nearest to the Park End behind the manager is Gareth Barry's. He has also decorated it with pictures of himself.

So, 2 players have them, Bellew has one......6 Boxes we have for actual Companies ???

Pathetic, for a Club wanting to be in the Elite competition.

There's absolutely no evidence for this, like I've explained a few times we hardly sell 9 reasonably priced boxes as it is. I can't understand how you can be so assertive about it when the evidence is to the contrary. These facilities are available on a game by game basis there not even all leased on a seasonal tenure it hardly screams high demand.

I work in the events industry and see it day after day. People pay for nice facilities, it stands to reason. Would you rather sit in a plush new box with mod cons or some old suite that you cant even see the pitch from properly.

This. Mick is right also.

Like I said with the new pitch, as it doesn't need to be replaced until every 10th year, it is now available for hire for the first 6 weeks of the off season. It was fully booked in no time and they could have had it hired out for the whole of the off season. Increased revenue for next to no outlay.

The grounds a dump in comparison to our peers and the corporate facilities are no different.

The sector aren't falling over themselves to pay for what we currently have, due to the fact that they can get much better elsewhere. Corporate hospitality isn't all about club allegiance it's about the product on offer and ours is way behind the rest.

The model is OT, their operation is unbelievable.

We could have 50 boxes but it wouldn't matter a jot because we can hardly get enough takers for the nine we've got, and one of them those 9 is generally leased by a player. That's just were we are as a club, our fans on the whole aren't wealthy and we as a club aren't glamorous enough to attract business away from our competitors.

Also the only other none new stadium I can think of that's had a name change due to sponsorship was the SportsDirect stadium, I'm not sure how much was paid but it clearly wasn't a successful venture as it didn't last long and is now back to St.James Park. Although I personally wouldn't like to see us sell out from calling the ground Goodison Park to whatever sponsors we could find, I suppose any untapped revenue stream is an improvement on not tapping it.

We clearly need to either find a new home or restructure Goodison into a modern facility, but it's not whats holding Everton back from competing at the top. The real problem is the fact we've not go wealthy owners who are willing to throw money hand over fist at the club. Bring in an extra £5-10m per season won't suddenly make us champion contenders, it may well fund an extra player now and then but it won't revolutionize us like some people claim.

More boxes means more will be sold. There would be cheaper options available for those who want but cannot afford. There would be more expensive options for those who can afford but want more. There will be people saying "oh, I want to try a box at the New Goodison. It's all suave and fancy."

As I said, I wasn't speaking solely in terms of name changes, but advertising and sponsorship as a whole related to the stadium and the club. Goodison does not help our sponsorship appeal.

A new stadium is the only option. Restructuring Goodison will cost too much to be worth the effort instead of building anew. An extra £5-10m a season is a lot and would aid the club immensely. Think. Didn't Elstone say we lose about £5m a year? Of course, the cost of the stadium would certainly add to our bills, but the benefits from building a new one accumulate. Eventually you get a £20m per season shirt sponsorship with Fly Emirates.

Like I've said in the beginning we've got independent verified award winning corporate facilities with probably the best viewing positions in the ground and yet we still struggle to sell them out. They have been awarded to us after comparisons with our competitors, simply having more doesn't actually equate to selling more.

We're going round in circles here.

Let me see these awards we've won. This must be customer service and not the facilities unless the voting was done by Bill Kenwright and John Parrot.

We won a sustainability award for our new LED lighting system in Goodison Park, so we're doing something well at least.

Of course £5-10m increase in revenue is a lot, but on the wider football spectrum it's a drop in the ocean. To actually redesign Goodison so it incorporates these type of facilities would likely mean the cost would so prohibitive that it would take years before we see any sort of gain on the balance sheets.

I also don't understand your theory of how a new stadium can eventually lead to £20m shirt sponsors, are you telling me if we'd moved to Kirby our lastest shirt deal we've just signed would have been worth nearly 3 times more than the one we've just got off Chang?

I just look at all the clubs who built new stadia and find little to no evidence of improvement.

City??? but they don't own the place the facility was handed on a plate just not comparable.

Arsenal??? Beautiful stadium bringing in bucketloads of cash but they've gone downhill since moving from Highbury. They claim the place is full when it's not and yes they've banked the ST money but these "new fans" (tourists??) contribute ONLY finance. They sit on their hands shouting "kick it in the net" and other insightful utterances then when it goes tits up they're first away.

If we haven't got an oil sheikh give me a phased affordable redeveloped Goodison all day long our trump card is our tradition loads of other clubs have thrown theirs away ... for what?

I might add if our neighbours (better placed than most) aren't going down this new stadium route despite having planning permission at Stanley Park the proposed return must be very questionable.

West Ham are getting their new ground paid for by me and you as taxpayers. The RS's Stanley Park proposal likewise. Can't we get a similar deal....
