Aye...we've probably broken even.

£33m for Fellaini & Vic
less
£10m for the loanees (fees and wages)
£19m on Mac & Kone 2012
£4m for Robles & Martinez compensation
= 0 balance

I'm hoping Martinez gets £10m to play with, but it won't come out the Fellaini/Anichebe money, as that's already gone.

Forgive me, aren't the wages at least partially covered by Fellaini's wages being off the books? And Vic/Nev/Mucha?

I'm sure McCarthy's wages are less than some of them. It seems that if we're counting the loanees wages as expenditure, we need to know if our wage bill has gone up significantly due to the loanees.

We haz no moneys untill we sell some playas.

NEA. We'll have what we have and Bobby will make it work.

I am sort of excited to see the year's end shareholder report. Hopefully the debt has shrunk a tiny bit.

Fellaini was the top earner at the club hes gone and David Moyes was one of the best paid managers in EPL...
When hetinga goes thats another 68,000 off the books a weeka and Jelly must be about 50

This thread seems to point to Kenwright getting it spot on in the summer, if we spent nowt and have done what we have done on that budget since it shows we didnt really need to spend anything :) (y)

I'm not certain to be honest. But I think the identical and fixed figure that is shared between the Premier League clubs comes at the beginning of the season. The money based on league position and TV appearances comes later. This last summer was significantly different for us, we bought Kone without selling anyone first, and there didn't appear to be a need to sell a player in order to cover our loss. I believe this is because the first part of the new revenue came our way, but I don't know for sure.
As an aside with this we just had two games shifted for tv and will have a few more shifted this season just because of the way we are playing. Can only be positive for the financial health of the club.

eeeeexcept that they said the McCarthy money was already there before Fellaini was sold. Surely they wouldnt lie about something like that!

I dont think they would lie about that, why would they?. There is probably a very valid reason they bought McCarthy with 30 seconds to go of the transfer window just after completing the sale of fellaini.

If you think about it, its not just the way we play that has made us look so good. we have brought in 80+ million pounds worth of talent in lakaku, deulofeu, Barkley and McCarthy for next to nothing.

I thought the first tranche comes in in August 2014. The likes of Norwich borrowed against it in order to fund their spending in summer 2013, didn't they?
I believe you get your share of the money in three different forms, one is the bit that everyone gets the same... it's paid at regular intervals throughout the season.
Second is money that's paid each time you're actually featured on tv.
Third is based on finishing position at the end of the season.
