Ferguson - My Players were'nt protected enough

Laughable comments. Not protected enough! How does he explain that diving little fairy rolling over FOUR times from a perfectly legit tackle, then Neville getting booked for the good tackle!

The thing is, he knows he can say anything and get away with it because he is a cock and the FA ignore him.
I hope they pipe up and say he is not adhering to this new 'respect the ref' campaign. He is basically saying Wiley(the completely useless turd) never did his job properly.

The thing is, if Wiley had have sent off Rooney for inciting the crowd to the letter of the law, SAF would be the first miserable coont to moan about it.
Chris having watched the tackle a few times I honestly believe Ronaldo should have been booked not Neville its as clear as day he won the ball.I would love to have seen some of these players getting tackled like the 50-60s they would be dead.I hate all this play acting and that goes for some of our guys as well to be fair.

I had to laugh at Ian Wright,on Goals On Sunday,he said about the Neville tackle, he was proper laughing at Ronaldo, saying he was rolling on the floor like a kid in a sweetshop who's just been told by his mum that he can't have any more sweets.

He, and the rest of the studio guests said there was nothing wrong with the tackle whatsoever, and that Ronaldo, Giggs and Duck lip were trying to get the ref to send Neville off.

Not before time the so called sky four must take drama lessons to be able to act like they do.:@

FA should clamp down on this kind of play acting. Players get suspended by using video evidence, after making a bad challenge or throwing an elbow, so this behaviour should also be punished.:@

Agreed but the trouble is the FA are scared of them for some reason you only have to see what happens when sending offs are appealed the few rescinded are usually them

Im afraid he was the last man, there were players alongside, but he was the last line.

before yak hits the deck evra is nearlly 10-15 yards goal side of the pair of them, covering defender = not last man = no red card

That's the best description I've heard so far !!

I'm not sure if they are scared, it's more like protective/biased towards the big four. Just have to look at the Terry appeal. If it was an Everton, or another 'also rans' defender(in their eyes), the appeal would have been turned down. Look at the Cahill tackle against Alonso. If it was a Man U, Gunners, Chelsea or RS player redcarded, I somehow believe the outcome of his appeal would have turned out different.

Is goals on Sunday online anywhere? I'm always out with the family on Sunday but would like to see this.

Or Newcastle. Oh wait...................................

Fact is that Ferguson as well as pretty much every manager in the premierleague (including Moyes sometimes) act like whiney little kids when things don't go their way.

Ferguson is one of the worst for talking complete absolute bollocks though. He knows just as much as anyone else watching that match that what he is saying is complete bollocks.

He is just protecting his players though, i cant blame him even though he comes across as a **** he probably doesn't care if it benefits his team.

Best thing to do with such complete rubbish is ignore him.

Anyway

It was the football cliche game of two halves

I have no complaints we could have got beat

However I would definately get a few quid on United as the odds lengthen

Your lovely esteemed neighbours will win [Poor language removed] all

Fair play Nev.

Though i still think & hope that you'll win the premiership.

Saha got worse treatment then Ronaldo Saturday, Vidic snapped him then not long after Giggs snapped him. Saha didn't do the kind of histronics that Ronaldo did with much more contact. Ferguson needs to get his own house in order when he's talking about dangerous tackles Vidic's and Giggs' were a million times more dangerous than Neville's.
