Not for me. Fellaini has been the difference for us in a lot of games this season. I'd rather have one great player than 2/3 good ones.

I think we have to accept he'll be off at the end of the season and his position is totally understandable so it's about us looking to replace him , worrying given past experience we'll get about half the cash to spend . So however the manager is next season it's both worrying and also exciting that we can at least look to bring a couple in.

It's a strong possibility but given the choice I'd rather keep him.

Fellaini says there isn't one, then there isn't one.

I want us to get top dollar in summer and buy 4 'Mirallas' standard players, much better in the long run.

Good point that about the wages.

Yeah Fellaini's money could give us 4 players, but would we be able to pay 4 extra players wages?

Even 3 Mirallas type's, would improve the team.

Lets say now, we sold Fellaini, got Leroy Fer, Souliman (Ajax), Jelle Vossen.

Instantly better.

Lescott and Rooney that wasn't the case was it ?

Sissoko and Hotly cost combined £3.5 million !!!

Even with some money, we could compete for these type's pf signings.

I think buying 4 new players with the Fellaini money is a bit of a stretch, and that it's more likely to go on 2 or 3 new players.

It all depends on how much we pay them? 75k of weekly wages will have been freed up through selling Fellaini, and there should be new money from the TV deal. So I don’t think two new players on 60k a week is beyond Everton.

Anyway, Felli is on about £80k per week. We're getting an extra £20m per season from the TV deal. If we were to use just one quarter of that on increasing the wage budget of the club that's an extra £100k per week.

£180k per week could be easily split between three good players. Use the money from the Fellaini sale to fund the purchases, along with the '£8m' we were given for Fer.

Ideally we could shift Heitinga in the Summer too, which frees up another £60k per week.

I don't think that '£8m' we had for Fer will exist in the Summer anyway. So we'll have the Fellaini money if we were to sell him, and probably not even all of that.

Whilst the extra TV money will go to 'Other Operating Costs'

We already have the money in form of a loan by all accounts, it can't not exist.

If we add the money we get from Fellaini to the income we get from everything else we can probably overlook the other operating costs for now and concentrate on the wages we can free up from selling some of the senior management team and look to reinvest over a number of years.
