problem is if we want a top quality striker and CM/CB coming in we are gonna have to sell atleast one decent player as RM wont have a big kitty without a sale, who would you rather sell felli baines or jelly? I know which one I would

Feliini, Feliiiiini, show yer maaagic...i will always remember that shout.. (some fella shouted that in the derby, several times)

I think I'll be on my own here, but if one of the two had to be sold I'd likely opt for Baines...purely on the basis that finding an attacking left-back with the type of money we'd get in and still have excess to put towards another player would be easier than buying a (potentially) world class midfielder like Fellaini.
However, this coming season is massive for the Big Man to ensure he's in the Belgian team for Rio, so I'd guess he wants as much continuity as possible so he'll stay another year. Baines will stay too.

Even when jelavic was banging goals in, his hold up play and controlling of the ball, passing to others etc was not really of a high standard. If Martinez changes us style wise a bit, then jelavic is going to be even worse!

Sell if we can.

Baines is our main threat,Felli great player but other players around do similar holding job,not as good as him though.Baines must set more than 50%of our chances or attacks up.

Wow!

Yeah, I don't think you'll find too many who'll agree with you to be honest.

If we don't sell anyone (Fellaini) I expect Martinez to have funds for at least one quality player, possibly even 2, of the same sort of level as Mirallas. For the sake of names we'll say Soldado but ideally someone a bit cheaper than his £15m price tag & younger (he's 30 I think), and leroy fer (though I doubt Martinez will go for Moyes' targets).
With Barkley to play a much bigger part and Duffy and maybe McAleny ready to step up too.

he does make a decent point though. Having an amazing centre midfielder is more important than having an amazing left back. The only problem is that we won't be able to attract any left back in the world who is as good as baines because there aren't any around. Whereras there are plenty of great centre midfielders out there. The fact is we are far more likely to recieve a fee of fellaini's actual worth as opposed to baines.

not exctly a bad post though

Usually I'd agree that a CM is more important than a CB but this isn't any ordinary left back. He's the finest Everton player I've ever seen with my own eyes and in my opinion (and many other's) he's currently the best left back in world football. It's just a pleasure to watch him.
