Fellaini working on his fitness in Spain

Moyes try's to get away with the entire squad at this point of the season normally, but has said he can't this time because of. The fixtures. I'm sure it's been sanctioned.

Is being in a nightclub the best idea? Probably not but we'll have arguably our best player coming back hopefully rested.

I'd have been more worried if Drenthe and Shandy Andy were in the picture with him

It shouldn't happen during the season. He should be training with the squad, travelling with them on match day and being amongst the team spirit. So getting suspended now has it's rewards? He's been a good footballer but he's turned into a arrogant prick lately. Brian Clough will be turning on his grave.

Because Brian Clough wasn't arrogant in the slightest.

He's asked to go away for a bit, and the club have said yes. If they thought he shouldn't Moyes would have said no.

Mountain/Molehill.

Oh my god- I think you're being serious.

Players should be allowed a bit of down time- its got to help relax and refocus you.

It's not the end of the world, but I think it might be indicative of a player having too much control if he's able to take a vacation while he's suspended in the middle of the season, and go out and take pictures when he's clearly pissed. A short break from training is one thing, but he shouldn't be going out and getting bombed while his teammates are back in Liverpool working their asses off to be ready to compete.

Don't want to get all tin-foil-hatty, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this type of thing has been going on for some time, but the club don't want to reveal Fellaini's disciplinary issues so as not to hurt his transfer price.

Of course I'm being serious. Players should be allowed a bit of downtime? At the end of the season yes but not while we are fighting for a European place. What example does this set for the rest of the squad? Fancy a holiday? Get suspended. Spend time with ya bird? Get suspended. Don't like the cold? Get suspended. Why can't the rest of you see what I can see?

We're banning players from drinking on a week day, now? Who here has never drunk during a working week, even on a friday or saturday when work isn't the next day? Fecking no-one thats who.

Even if he was playing on the sunday, this would be fine, when he's not even playing for two more weeks it's obviously okay.

And as for brian clough wouldn't accept it, because no clubs in the 70s and 80s had a drinking culture, ffs.

I agree with you anyway Mick

Whats the penalty for a match being abandoned due to not having enough players left cause they've all been sent off?

Cause thats whats gonan happen at Spurs now, all our players are gonna see Fellaini on holiday pissing it up whilst suspened so will now deliberatly get themselves sent off so they can do the same.

Oh well, goodbye to 4th place :(

Hope you've never gone out for a drink when you had to be at work within the next two weeks, like.

Well if you want to put it like that, he's been suspended from work for disciplinary reasons and swanned off on a jolly for a fortnight.

As Mick says I would have rather seen him supporting the team from the stands v Stoke, that's all.

*shakes head*

He's been allowed to go to a different country for a few days while he's out of the squad for two weeks. Why does it matter ? He could have done the same thing in this country. Literally the only difference is that he's had to ask permission and he'll probably miss a training session or two.

Fellaini has looked a bit frazzled of late anyway, correct decision from both sides allowing him to go and chill out for a bit.

CLEARLY the club dont think it's that big of a deal, or they wouldn't have let it happen. This is like the Daily Mail ffs
