He has over 4 years to run on his contract so we hold a bit of a strong hand, also if he wants to put himself into the 'shop window' then he'll have to continue playing as well as he has lately. Moyes has continually said that he rates Felli as the best midfielder in England so I can see him going for a fee that is higher than most think we'll get for him . Maybe as much as £30m

Just because Moyes thinks he is the best midfielder in the country does not mean the rest of europe think the same

We hold a strong hand but the last thing you want is a player rocking the boat and disrupting the team spirit in the squad

We all knew this was going to happen . He wants champions league football . I arnt that bothered because we will make some money off him . Id be happy with 25 to 30 million then would get Lewis holtby in for cheap as he will have 6 months left on his contract of he come is January . We could buy a good keeper for 8 mill a couple of centre mids for 10 mill then with the rest buy a right back . Could be a good investment if we can make some profit

thats true, main thing here is that it is in everybodys interest that the continues to be ace.

Man Utd are the grandaddies of "buying success" - get a grip will ya?

I think there is a big difference between ManUtd and clubs like ManCity, Chelsea and PSG. ManUtd buy good young and talented players and help them develop into world class players (Nani, C. Ronaldo, Vidic, Evra, Rooney, Chicharito, Rafael da Silva) while adding to the players that came through their academy (Giggs, Scholes, Evans, Cleverly, Welbeck, Fletcher). Obviously there are exceptions like Rio, Betbatov and Van Persie but, its not like those other clubs who only buy players that are the finish product without giving their academy players a chance.

fat chance we sold yobo for 2m, cahill for 1m, yak for 1.5m. we sold lescott for 24m and a few seasons later sold rodwell to the same club for only 12 upfront.

Its pretty obvious moyes would of said when he signed his contract give it another season and if your still not happy then I will let you leave. hence why we havent heard anything from fellainis dad since he signed his contract.

also people are forgetting if fellaini leaves in the summer moyes contract is up then aswell, he may also be thinking whats the point of staying another 5 years if any decent players I get and spend years nurturing I will be forced to sell.
then theres the difficult possibility of us rejecting bids becuase they arent high enough and then fellaini handing in transfer requests and resusing to play, could get ugly

How many times have you seen Holtby play mate?

Guys,

I was very surpised to read in some newspapers that I will leave Everton very soon and perhaps next January.
Let me remind you that I am very happy in Liverpool and our start of the championship was good. Kevin Mirallas and some other good players joined us to make a better squad in order to realize a good championship in the line of the end of the last one.
So with Everton, I am ready to play all the season and to reach our goals of this season. However, my only concern for the moment is of course our (Red Devils) Tuesday's game against Croatia.
Whether you're in Belgium or England, thank you from my heart for your support …

Mirallas will want out in a year. Hopefully has a good season so we can get £10m plus for + £20m plus for Fellaini. We'll become a better club for it, no one is to big. Chances are we'll bring Rodwell + Cahill back for next season anyway.
