Fellaini to Chelsea

How can Chelsea be 'pretty determined to get Felli in the window' when they have no manager? Who's decided they want him...Terry? Ramires? Torres? The groundsman? The kitman??

You're either bored or a Kopite as this 'story' has been re-hashed for 2 years in various media formats

Barlows mate can you ask Moutinhos Cousin if he can come and play for Everton, thanks.

Because Chelsea managers don't tend to make signings these days.

Was it Ancellotti would said Torres was signed without even consulting him?

Thinking about it, if you removed any single player from our line up for good, I think Fellaini's absence would be the most telling.

We've even managed to cope without Baines, but whenever we don't have Fellaini we seem to lack bite and muscle all throughout the midfield.

He'd fetch more than anyone else at this moment, but could we do enough with that cash to make up for his absence? I fear not.

Surely if Chelsea were looking to strengthen in this position we would have seen them go in for M'Vila at some point?

It would hurt to lose the boy, thats for damn sure, but Moyes is a God mate, im not saying he could replace Fellaini, but he should do good things with the money, regardless, I still want him to stay.

/awaits Billy reference.

Baines appears to be the big worry for me, a sale like that would send the wrong signals to the squad, IMO.

Infact any sale that involves anybody on the pitch today is a backwards step.

Agreed

Kenwright will sell him a minute before the deadline for a pittance then grin & promise davey a journeyman from Derby in January. I'd hate to lose Felli but he could do a job for a few top teams.

What we really need to do is clear out the deadwood, who are still claiming a decent wage, despite being sh*t. By this I mean the likes of McFadden who should be gone anyway, Anichebe, and Yobo as he's surplus to requirements, as well as one of or both of our back up 'keepers. Hopefully we'd be able to raise enough money/save enough on wages and agent fees to satisfy the banks. Sadly I can't see it happening though.
