Thinking about it, if you removed any single player from our line up for good, I think Fellaini's absence would be the most telling.

We've even managed to cope without Baines, but whenever we don't have Fellaini we seem to lack bite and muscle all throughout the midfield.

Just seen he has colitis. I'll be surprised if he ever plays again with that condition. My old man used to play football, cricket the works. He got this severely and he's not been able to work for 18 years.

What we really need to do is clear out the deadwood, who are still claiming a decent wage, despite being sh*t. By this I mean the likes of McFadden who should be gone anyway, Anichebe, and Yobo as he's surplus to requirements, as well as one of or both of our back up 'keepers. Hopefully we'd be able to raise enough money/save enough on wages and agent fees to satisfy the banks. Sadly I can't see it happening though.
